Well looks like the memphis offensive staff is coming.

Lets hope this is a sign the increased coaching pool money is getting sunk into defense and not him just giving his buddies a come up.

SilverDick got a come up and so will his buddies.

Our defense will be shite again and you will like it.

They best find some legit SEC secondary players if he's running that 4-2-5 defense.

I remember the last time a coach attempted that shite here and failed.

Soooo he’s bringing his entire offensive staff from Memphis pretty much and just gonna give it a go in the SEC? Well good news is it can’t get any worse. I mean we could go 0-12 but honestly if we’d lost to Arkansas state and whoever the frick our glorified pre season game was against it wouldn’t have made me feel any better or worse about this last season.

In Saban changed his defense to be smaller like that didn’t he? Shorter faster linebackers?

I gotta hand it to you, you have continued to hang in there. I finally gave in. We both wanted BP with a decent NIL and with him having an off season to bring it together over what we currently have.

But, I just don't have any fight left. Let Silver do what he does, as long a HY is here it won't matter anyways.

I don't care about Petrino. I just have zero faith in this hire.

He was never a coordinator, so he's not gonna out scheme anybody. That means he needs to be an elite recruiter and "rah rah" guy with a top tier staff around him. Right now Purdue and Northwestern have better classes than us.

And before people use the excuse of having just hired a coach, LSU's class is ranked 13th. Florida is 16th. Ole Miss is 22nd.

I wanted Petrino too, but there is no real reason to think Silverfield will be as bad as Pittman. I think the SEC made it clear that they did not want Petrino as a HC in the conference by the way our games were officiated. Silverfield has every opportunity to be at least competent, and may surprise us all and be really good.

If Silverfield wins 9 games I will be blown away.

Understandable

But the toxicity towards Silver that’s better reserved for HY and other admin does get old. Of course it is what it is when HY has created that toxicity and he’s still here. Thing is, even after HY is gone, the damage done will take awhile to go away. Kinda like now, Silver is catching undeserved heat because of past indiscretions by past hires. Arkansas fans have been abused by the UofA admin & are sick & tired of being sick & tired.

Silver is catching heat because his resume isn't impressive and his hires aren't helping.
