You’ve been wanting Morris for a minute Mike.

You need to work on explaining why you think this is a good hire, which you clearly do, and you are one of the only ones. I'm sure you thinking this is an upgrade because he beat Sam Pittman like almost everyone else who coached against Sam Pittman.

Mike…you’re so damn old you can’t even comprehend any of my posts.

Memphis fans were ready for a change. Their NIL spend was well above others in the conference. Look at how well Fuente and Norvell have done since leaving Memphis. Silverfield took over from what was built, without the same results. Will rely heavily on a OC and DC since he’s neither.

Okie State is thrilled with the Morris hire.

Memphis thinks with a new hire they’ll be in the playoff hunt next year. Especially with Morris, Sumrall, Golesh etc all gone.

On paper this is a bad hire

The psychological operation known as “Sunshine Pump” has commenced boys. By weeks end half of the fan base will be convinced the Razorbacks just hired the next Nick Saban.

Why do you feel sorry for him taking a pay raise while avoiding the embarrassment of being fired by Memphis in a few weeks?

Because he has almost no chance to succeed here. Pretty much the entire fanbase agrees this is a shite hire by a lazy, suckass AD who cares more about his position on the selection committee than doing his actual job.

Because he and his family are going to take a lot of unnecessary shite from Arkansas fans because HY doesn’t care about our football program any more than the rest of our administration, or boosters. We should jump to Conference USA where we belong.

Haven’t really seen anyone pumping sunshine about the hire other than a few media guys and some former players on twitter.

It isn’t a great hire. It could’ve probably been worse (see Stillwater), it could’ve been a lifelong position coach (see Sam), but it isn’t great and not what most fans had hoped for.

Head to head results are such a terrible way to look at a resume. That’s all Silverfield has

Most of us did that with Morris and Pittman. We’re tired of this. There is ZERO reason to be excited right now.

According to Hawgeye, Silverfield was the best of the bunch.

Arkansas got the pick of the litter.

He's better than Sam Pittman.

The bar was low and HY still tripped.

Even our blind posters can see how big of an arse hat you are.

Your boy Eric Morris is the worst hire of the American bunch.

To be fair HY knows people will still come to the games even we hired a trained monkey. They will only lose revenue after the like the 6th game because people wont break the cycle.

In 4 years we will have another coach and people will believe again.

Oh it’s gonna take some monumental spin but they’ll try like hell. No choice. Some national guys are starting then I’d expect most of our local media folks to fall in line. We’ll have to watch and see who buys in.

Disagree. He wasn’t my first choice here but he’ll do well at Okie State. Not sure you understand how difficult the North Texas job has been historically.

Stillwater invests less than Fayetteville.
