He was literally stepped on and didn’t have much time to decide which hand to use. It was a fluke play and he’s owned it.

I realize that but in my head it’s in slow motion replay and he has time to consider it and make the right choice but he never ever does.

We probably would have lost that game even if Clint wasn't such a loser.

But still, who braces their fall with the hand that has the ball in it- USE THE OTHER ONE.

EXACTLY ... & if you do lose ball, fall on said ball with body!!! ... Pretty positive that's taught in peewee.

Clint must not get into the numbers much in his job as a football analyst. Either that or he is emotionally invested in a Chad Morris hire. And if so, ain't nothing wrong with it. If they're friends or something like that of course he is gonna lobby for him to get the job. Any of us would do the same thing

I'm sure it was a fluke, & I guess he's owned it, but what else can he do? ... I mean it was one of those such unbelievable events that immediately afterwards, standing there with mouths open for what seemed an eternity, hearing Rocky Top incessantly blaring in the background, everyone was questioning if it really just happened & if so, who put the hex on us or how much did he get paid. 20 years later, it's still baffling to see.

I still say to this day that state missed that fg.
