What does Robb Smith make at the moment and when will he get a raise?

Sad about Shannon but didn't expect to keep him long anyway. We better not lose Robb Smith....that is when I will meltdown.

Talent Evaluation/Recruiting.

He has as much experience as a HC as he does a D-line coach.

Black Monday saw the dismissal of Jim Leavitt from the 9ers.

IIRC Bert and him were on the same staff at KSU for a year or two.

Leavitt would be an upgrade over Shannon, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to stay around in the NFL somewhere.

Buh will not find many supporters for keeping him on staff. In his one year stint as Cal defensive coordinator, he presided over the worst defense in Golden Bear history, one that showed minimal improvement and often put the offense in huge holes minutes into the game.

He was over an impressive turn around of Nevada's defense.

So...

Randy Shannon is already getting beat in Florida. Da'Vante Phillips, top 100 recruit from Miami Central committed to the Noles today.

I hope Jon Fagg takes UF and Shannon to court to get the full buyout money. They had an agreement before today, it was reported on before today, and is obviously a deal that was made before the buyout dropped significantly today.

I wouldn't let Shannon leave w/o getting every cent he owes us for not fulfilling his obligations.
