Oh, I agree. I think the Hogs win. It's just silly to think the tournament would be a wasted trip even if they lost every game. The team can use this level of competition early in the season to get better as a team down the road.
Plus, the RPI at the end of the year will look good even with a loss. Playing teams like this is a lot better than playing Sister Mary's in the eyes of the selection committee.
