Sounds harsh but if McFarland doesn’t improve I really hope we don’t keep him around next year simply due to seniority at the expense of one of this year’s freshman pitchers or something. DVH doesn’t face this situation often though, normally when a senior comes back it’s someone like Bonfield who was a decent to good returning starter at the college level just without much pro potential. The ones usually processed are underclassmen.
Maybe MLB teams will like him for his measurables and he’ll get drafted anyway, who knows. He obviously looks good in practice or he wouldn’t have made it to his junior year with how valuable college baseball roster spots are.

JMac will be asked to move along at the end of the year if he doesn't step it up at the plate. DVH doesn't miss on many players but JMac just hasn't developed YET.

Ezell’s throwing shoulder - he had surgery on is at less than 50% but DVH didn’t rule out when the temperatures warm up and he continues to heal getting to 65%, maybe 70% a move back to 2B could be made.
