Tomorrow's my last day of the squat challenge. 240 today and 250 tomorrow. Going to start a whole new core routine, as well.
my thighs have changed A LOT since doing this challenge. Super toned.
No way i'm keeping up 250 squats several times a week, though. Thinking of 100 3 or 4 times a week.

tried to do light weight yesterday for back with my injury. did some bent over rows and the exercise itself didn't hurt. but afterward my chest/bicep area tightened up and burned for a good 10-15 minutes
got to talking to one of the guys i've worked out with before who knows what he's talking about and he gave me some good advice for the injury. said i should wait till the bruise goes away and then give it another week before i do any kind of exercises with my upper body. so thats what i'm gonna do. stick to legs, lower back, abs, and cardio till a week after the bruise goes away.
did calves, lower back, and abs yesterday. now about to go run 5 or so miles

Yeah, that's what you have to do. I had to take a few weeks off while a medication cycled out of my system, since then every time I go (twice a week, normally) I've been able to increase the weights 5-20 pounds. My strength is coming back quick after being "down" for a year, the areas that are slow are the ones related to the injuries I had.
Once I "hit a wall", I can back it back down a few lbs and start going 3 times a week and change the reps to 3 sets of 15 instead of the 2 sets of 15-20 I'm doing.

I've been doing 12oz curls and kickin their arse. I usually lose track of how many reps tho. :(

Anybody have experience with BODYPUMP? The fam just joined the Y and my wife is interested in picking up a class.

It isn't the size, its the way you use it, really its a mental thing more than physical, they can be fun but don't waste your money if your looking for an increase in size.

Just a 30 day challenge. Facebook group page. Mostly just for fun, but once it hits 180+ a day, you start feeling it more. The hard part for me is incorporating it into my normal routines. I have to be careful with my left knee.
ayyyy.... IDK anymore. I HAVE to change things up big time, though. I have a flat stomach, oblique definition ( like the indents. not muscle showing, though. argh) and some muscle showing a bit in the lowest portion (the sexy line..which isn't even muscle. anyway lol) BUT I want good muscle definition. My arms, upper legs, shoulders, and back are shaping up nice. Especially my delts and traps. I do a killer upper body w/o though and have found what works for me. (killer for a 122 lb girl
the only TARGETING exercise that I have found to REALLY work for me (so far) are bicycle crunches. I lay out 2 two hundred count sets so far. I've started using a decline bench at home, but I swear it feels like i'm using my upper legs more than my core. I must be doing something wrong. Obviously. lol.
here are things I do (intervals, etc..) crunches, reverse crunches, V ups, bicycle crunches, oblique crunches, mountain climbers, baby burpees, decline bench stuff.
I THINK I need to do less but more often. Like every other day instead of core/cardio one day and core mixed in with arms/legs.
I recently started adding in some upper body on my run only days.
My diet is extremely clean, fyi. It's not that. I meal plan, plan out times for my carbs even and do ratio's. The only improvement I could make there is getting into the diets that fitness models have during their season and that's not happening. No way.
IDK...any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.
If you want to see a pic of someone to give you an idea of whose abs/arms I want to strive for a "me version of" google Andreia Brazier. She's pretty much perfection to me
I know most guys don't like girls that ripped, but I think it's hot so no judging me.

Is that Les Mills? I have friends who talk about body pump, but I'm pretty old school with my work outs. IDK jack about stuff like that.

So you described this:
flat belly
oblique definition
sexy line
killer upper body
legs and arse capable of doing hundreds of squats per day
Congratulations, 99.99% of guys (and girls) think you are hot. Don't worry too much about not looking exactly like a professional fitness model whose full-time job it is to stay looking the way she does. :)

I'm happy with my body. I just have goals. Always a goal to reach. My core is my current goal.
ETA: Not worried about others. Just making that clear. This is just my "thing" .

Getting back on track. 4 workouts this week (supposed to do 6). Eating was good, not great. Still better than the past month or two.
