Screw milk. Go get slim fast and drink it with your meals, or chug it 30 min before each meal.
What kind I workout do you do? Any lifting?

what are you eating? specifically. your eating schedule, as wel. This is kind of my specialty.

I've been trying to gain weight since January and I'm still right around 155 lbs.
I get the results back from the biopsy on Wednesday when they take the stitches out. Should be fine; the doc gave me the option to watch it and see if it does anything weird, but I decided to have him just cut it out. I have really good insurance so I might as well make my co-payment count for something other than having a forty year old dude look all over my naked body for strange lumps.

Umm depends. Chicken breast, some fish. I'll eat peanut sandwiches for snacks and I ate some chili I made the other day for 3 meals(it was delicious). I throw in my weight gainer at least once a day, sometimes too and I take it with milk.
About to buy a big arse bag of potatoes so I can eat those with my meals too. I just cant cook for shite so I don't know what to cook.
I was told I need around 2,800 calories a day to gain weight.
Thats so much for someone light me. I have zero appetite for some reason too.

My advice on the workout end is to not do high reps.
Figure out what your max is on bench, squats, etc
Increase your weight to 75-80% of your max and do low reps, like 3 reps at 80% your max weight.
This will help build bulk, which will increase your weight.
I also know from experience on the slim fast. My freshman year I reported at 255 lbs and needed to gain 10 lbs and keep it on while going through fall camp. Slim fast was put in my diet and it got my weight up and I maintained it through the season

I will try the slim fast
As far as reps go. I usually do 4 if I am doing one leg or one arm...Then 8 reps if I do them at the same time. Usually by the last few reps its a struggle.
How many sets of 4 reps should I do?

I have to get ready to go meet my trainer... I have a lot for you though (and more questions!) and will hit you up when I get back.
I'm 5'9" and prob around 125 (very small frame & female)and consume A LOT during the day and a very specific diet in order to keep up my tone (and to get to what my goals are) so I get where you are coming from with all of this. Quick gain, you can definitely try the slim fast and similar, but I personally do not recommend that stuff. Look at the ingredients. It's a lot of sugar and a lot of stuff you don't really want to litter your body with. Hawgeye, I'm not directing this to you. No hard feelings
My trainer is a BIG dude and has this stuff down to an art. Obviously I am training as a female, though.
you are more than welcome to email me on twitter if you want food/meal ideas to help.

If ur going to do 4 reps, do 4 sets I would suggest.
I'd stagger it like this....
1. 4x4 @ 80% max weight
2. 4x4 @ 80% max weight
3. 4x4 @ 75% max weight
4. 4x4 @ 75% max weight
I do t work out like that any longer, but I do keep my reps at 5 just because I like my arms to stay somewhat big. I normally start at 235lbs on the bench 3 sets of 5 then drop down to 225 for the last two sets. I haven't maxed out in years, but you should to see where you need to be with the lower reps.

They do have a lot of sugar, but judging by what he stated his diet is like, more sugars shouldn't hurt.
Take a gander at most all weight gaining supplements and look at their sugar content. Most are high.
The issue is that he is still eating a healthy diet with low sugar numbers. The milk isn't helping because that's the first thing to get burned during a workout, this he is back to just burning the normal diet he is on.
(Now I'm not saying to go out and eat 4 king sized milky ways either)

A gallon of milk a day? That's about what I do.

I don't see why not?
I'm 6'1" and weighed 215 2 years ago, felt "OK", looked, well, chubby, my game started to decline, it started to increase again when I dropped back down to 175 where I stayed for a year.
Then I dropped to 165 over last summer, now I'm down to 153 as of this morning.

Everyone is built differently. That's why I hate places that say someone a certain height should be a certain weight.
I have very broad shoulders and carry weight well. I am 6'3" and if I got below 225-235, I would look terrible. I would feel terrible. I haven't seen 195lbs since junior high.

Holy shite. 6'1" and 153lbs? Do you only eat edamame beans?

That's smaller than me. I am about 168 and I am little

Yeah, for me, after I get above 190 I start to look fat because I look like I weigh 25 pounds more than I really do all the time, the weight starts piling on in my midsection, neck, and face.
Even at my current weight, I look like I weigh 185 or so to most people.
Right now, I actually have abs, you can see my ribs in a totally non Ethiopian sick way. I can't wear skinny jeans, my leg muscles are too big for that, my shoulders are very broad and I have a long torso and arms as well.

Depends, usually I eat most of a lunchable for lunch, and try to drink water through out the day, sometimes I will have a soft drink or a rockstar energy + punch, usually try to keep my other meals at or below 500 calories and my total daily intake around 1500-2000 calories.
I try to average 1500-1800 calories daily as I am not real active or able to run or do much cardio to burn fat due to a injury I've suffered in my leg, so I also need to keep the weight off to keep the pain away in the present and in my future life.
The only real lifting I do is to help strengthen certain muscles in my back that are constantly aggravated due to the changed gate when I walk from the same injury. I lift some for my arms and legs to retain strength and tone, but not trying to add weight or size, if that makes sense?

For sure. I've just rarely heard of someone 6'1" being 153lbs. But it makes sense with this

I'll get down and do push-ups throughout the work day. A set of 30 or so every hour. I use to get funny looks until they realized they were fat and I wasn't.

I'm pretty broad and my current weight is deceiving. Most who guessed my weight underestimated it by 30-40 lbs. if I go down under 200 lb I fear I'll lose muscle weight.
At 210-205 lbs I'd feel great and should be able to run sub 8 min miles. Right now a month into working out I can run a little under a 10 minute mile. I need to start getting some high intensity interval running in to help cut some fat.
