We never really wanted Diop but would take if we had to and it sounds like Auburn was the same way so he went to CO who has a solid program. Best of luck.

Five-star center Baye Fall announced his commitment to Arkansas on Tuesday, giving the Razorbacks their second top-25 prospect of the class and their fifth in the last two years.
Fall chose Arkansas over Auburn, Rutgers and Seton Hall. He visited each of his finalists in the fall.
"It was really tough," Fall said at his announcement ceremony. "I heavily considered every school in my top four, but in the end I had to do what's best for me. Not only did Arkansas recruit me the longest and most consistently, but they play in a conference that I really like in the SEC. Plus, they know how to take guys to the pros, which is where I ultimately want to be. They can help me get it right and help me get to the next level."
A 6-foot-11 center who attends Accelerated Schools (Colorado), Fall is ranked No. 20 in the ESPN 100 for the class of 2023. He's considered the third-best center in the country.
After averaging 15.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in nine Grind Session games last season for Denver Prep, Fall is off to another strong start. In two early-season games earlier this month at the MN Shorty Classic on the Grind Session circuit, Fall had 13 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and four blocks in the opener and 19 points and eight rebounds in the second game against Balboa School.
Fall's physical tools are impressive. A big man with a sought-after combination of speed, length and strong vertical bounce, Fall also demonstrates active lateral foot speed that allows him to cover the ball or hedge on ball-screens. At this stage of his career, his greatest impact is as a paint defender. His rim protection and help defense can be a major asset.
Active on both ends of the floor, Fall can easily score on fast-break and second-chance opportunities, as well as drop-off passes through contact. His next step is to refine a low-post and back-to-the-basket game while developing a complementary short face-up game.
Fall joins top-25 guard Layden Blocker in Arkansas' 2023 class. Blocker is a speedy point guard who loves to use his quickness to push the ball and put pressure on opposing defenses. With at least three potential NBA draft picks on this season's roster -- freshmen Nick Smith Jr., Anthony Black and Jordan Walsh -- both Fall and Blocker could find themselves with extended roles early in Fayetteville.
Fall's commitment also gives Arkansas a top-25 recruiting class for the third time in four seasons, with Eric Musselman reeling in the No. 5 class in 2020 and the No. 2 class in 2022.

BJ Davis-Ray has been a familiar name on the recruiting scene since the end of his middle school days. After spending his first year of high school in the Lone Star State, Davis-Ray has returned to his home state of Missouri to compete on a national level with Branson (Mo.) Link Academy.
"The move has been great," Davis-Ray said. "I am learning the little details that is helping me become better."
This fall, Davis-Ray has started looking at schools to visit. He completed his first unofficial to Kansas last month and says he is planning visits to Arkansas and Texas soon
quote:
Arkansas: "The talks with the coaching staff have been great. They have that freshman big three over there and I could see myself playing in one of those organizations."
quote:
Now that he has his first taste of the visiting process, Davis-Ray says he will now look to prioritize a program that will value his game when touring more campuses.
"I want a program that is really going to get me better at what I do," Davis-Ray said. "I do not want to have to change the game that I am playing now at a program."
Rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports, Davis-Ray is ranked No. 13 overall in the national sophomore class.

Ian Jackson, the No.2 overall prospect in the junior class has completed three official visits so far.
The 6-foot- 4, 185-pound five star who attends Cardinal Hayes in the Bronx, (NY.) currently has a visit to UNC planned January 6th and Arkansas is the latest school to enter his recruitment.
“The process has been great. It’s really nice getting to go out to these programs, see how each campus is like, and each culture. It’s been great I’ve been excited the whole time.”
“Arkansas is a new school that came up recently and has been showing a lot of interest so I’m connected with them now. I look to visit them at some point. We haven’t talked about or set anything up but I hope to see it at some point.”
Jackson broke down his new relationship with Arkansas along with his three official visits with 247Sports.

Arkansas: “Coach Musselman came up to see me and it meant a lot. Not many schools sent their head coach out so for him to come all the way from Arkansas to the Bronx means a lot. Any head coach that comes out to see me means a lot.”

TRENTYN FLOWERS IMPRESSES, TALKS UPCOMING LIST TRIMMING
quote:
Trentyn Flowers is ranked as the No. 24 prospect in 2024 class and spent Friday backing up his rankings with an impressive, 23-point effort that saw him shoot an efficient 9-for-12 from the floor and help his Combine Academy team to a win over Atlanta-based The Skill factory High School squad.
Flowers’ stats were impressive, sure, but even more important to the Georgia-born prospect’s long-term future is his improved strength and the improving ability to create for himself in the mid-range via pull-up jumpers from multiple spots on the floor. Flowers’ scoring effort was well-balanced, but it’s also clear that the junior is starting to improve as a defender, where his long arms and solid instincts resulted in nine rebounds and caused problems for the opposition from the jump.
Following the game, Flowers said he may take one, final official visit this year before shutting recruiting travel down until next summer and cutting his list, which currently stands at 13 schools, to include just five programs.

One of the top performers at last weekend's Holiday Hoopsgiving event outside Atlanta, Trentyn Flowers is becoming a more complete player by the month.
On Friday, he showed off an improving mid-range game built on a number of smooth pull-up jumpers that helped him to a 23-point, nine-rebound performance and a victory for the Combine Academy team he joined this offseason.
Following the game, Flowers spoke with reporters, including Rivals’ Rob Cassidy, about his developing game and where his recruitment stands.
ON HIS RECRUITMENT:
“It’s going well. I cut my schools down to 13 and I’m still getting to know the coaches, the schools and everyone's facilities better.”
ON HIS NEXT OFFICIAL VISIT:
“I might take one more this year. Then, next year I have five official visits. I’m just weighing where I should take visits. I’m probably going to cut my visits down to five or six soon. I’ll probably do it before the end of the season in late February or March.”
ON WHICH SCHOOL WILL GET THE VISIT:
“I’m looking at Georgetown right now, even though I’ve already been up there on an unofficial. Florida State, too. Maybe somebody like Kentucky.”
ON HIS TRANSFER TO COMBINE ACADEMY:
“Everything is going amazing. I have a great team and a great [coaching] staff. Coach [Michael] Wright does everything that he can do with me. It’s really amazing to have a coach that believes in me as much as he does.”
ON WHAT HE IS WORKING TO DEVELOP
“I’ve been working on my three-ball a lot. I shot 0-for-2 from [three-point range] today, but usually I shoot 50 percent. That’s what I’ve been known for so far this season is my shooting. Today, it was mid-range. My approach is trying to develop and dominate all four quarters.”
quote:
RIVALS' REACTION
Flowers may or may not take one last junior-year official in the coming months, but what does seem certain is that another list trimming is coming this winter. Creighton seems like a near-certainty to make the cut, as does Memphis. North Carolina and Florida State are also schools to watch.
The touted wing has strong connections with the Georgia State staff, and Arkansas seems to be a player as well. Kentucky is yet to offer, but could make the cut if the Wildcats decide to push.

Over the weekend five-star junior Trentyn Flowers was one of the top standouts at this years Holidays Hoopsgiving. The 6-foot-8, 180 pound junior was efficient, played within the offense, created for himself, and excelled from the mid range on route to a 23 point outing on 9-12 shooting from the field.
“Everything has been going amazing for me, Flowers said. “I’ve got a great team and a great coaching staff. Coach Wright does everything he needs to do with me and it’s amazing to have a coach that believes in you as much as he does.”
“This year I’ve been working on my three ball a lot for my development. I’ve been known a lot for my mid range game so really I just want to improve my three ball and have the approach to dominate for all four quarters.”
On the recruitment side of things, Flowers cut his list to 13 in mid October and has taken four official visits so far to Creighton, Georgia State, Louisville, and Oklahoma. As of right now Flowers plans to take one more official for his junior year and has not set any for next year.
“The recruitment process has been going real well,” he said. “I cut my schools down to 13 and I’m just getting to know coaches, their facilities and each school all around.”
“I may take one more visit this year and then next year I’ll have five official visits so I’m going to weigh out where I’m going to take my visits too for then later. I’ll probably cut my list down to five or six in late February or March.”
As of now it’s still early for Flowers who still hears a lot from each school in his recruitment. As he continues the start to his junior season, he is weighing out where he will take his last official visit to for the year.

One of the top shooters in the class of 2024 Elijah Moore is hearing from new schools and has set up another official visit.
A 6-foot-3 four-star out of the Bronx (N.Y.) has already taken an official visit to Syracuse and will visit Oklahoma State this weekend.
“My recruitment process has been going well, Moore said. “We just had our first scrimmage last week and have had some practices so we’re getting into the flow of things. Right now my mind is kind of focused on the season and making sure my team is able to win and that’s what I really care about. I’m going to pay attention to my recruitment obviously but I’m just trying to make sure my team is put in a good position to win.”
“I’ve been talking with Arkansas, Iowa State, and Miami lately,” he continued. “I’ll be taking an official visit to Oklahoma State on the 26th. I really don’t know which direction I’m going to go in after my Oklahoma State visit but as of right now them and Syracuse will be the only two official visits I have completed by the end of November. I may go to Notre Dame or Oklahoma at some point but that’s all I have so far.”
quote:
As Moore’s junior season continues he has an idea of where he may take the rest of his visits and knows what he wants in a program.
“I would say I’ll make a decision no later then the beginning of my senior year,” he said. “It may be right after the season or I may take time to get to every school just in case I don’t take all five. After I do all that I’ll probably commit.”
“I have a couple schools in mind for the rest of my visits but it will come down to schools play style, the people who are there now, my relationship with the coaches and what I’m hearing. I want to see certain things they run for their players. I’ll be paying attention to see if they play my type of basketball.

CLASS OF 2024
quote:
David Castillo -- The combo guard at Bartlesville (Okla.) high who currently ranks No. 25 nationally according to 247Sports would likely be the first to admit that he wasn’t at his best. Being chased aggressively by the likes of Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and many others, Castillo was a bit off with his shooting touch (6-18 FG) while scoring 16 points and handing out four assists in a Saturday morning loss. A creative shot creator, Castillo was getting to his spots and generating good looks, the shots just weren’t dropping.
quote:
Elijah Moore -- The No. 73 ranked player in 2024, Moore had a big summer and he got his junior season off to a loud start for Bronx (N.Y.) Cardinal Hayes during a 32 point and four rebound performance on opening night. A prolific shooter from 12 from three, Moore was 8-12 from deep and jump shots looked like regular old layups for him. He’s a sneaky athlete and just updated his recruitment with 247Sports last week. His play in Duncanville landed him new offers from Illinois and Arkansas.
quote:
Dink Pate -- There is no denying his natural abilities are times where Pate looks like he could move way up from his current ranking of No. 28, his Friday night game just wasn’t that type of night for him. In a blowout loss to Moore and Cardinal Hayes (who also featured five-star junior Ian Jackson) Pate finished with 14 points, seven rebound and, two assists. He was playing on the ball an awful lot and while there is certainly room for him to handle the ball more and keep developing as a playmaker down the road, he just doesn’t look quite ready to be a full-time ball handler and had eight turnovers. His long and lean frame should be able to carry more weight and he’s got plenty of athleticism. Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas were among those watching him.
quote:
CLASS OF 2025
quote:
Cayden Boozer – The twin brother of 2025’s No. 1 ranked player Cameron Boozer, Cayden checks in at No. 24 himself on our list of the country’s top sophomores. He tallied a combined 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists during a pair of game but never looked fully comfortable as a ball handler. He’s strong and tough, but didn’t have the jump falling which allowed teams to key on his drives.
quote:
BJ Davis-Ray – Back in the Dallas area where he played his freshman season, the lengthy two-guard for Link Academy did the most he could with the 34 minutes he was able to play during the weekend (22 points). He had nine points in the 16 minutes of action I was able to watch and is looking quite promising as a wing who gets to mid-range and pulls up for jumpers and who is able to put up efficient numbers around a lot of other talent. It’s crazy, but at No. 13 overall he’s one of two top 14 ranked sophomores for Link. Davis-Ray has added offers from Arkansas, Auburn and Arizona State since the beginning of the school year to go along with those he already held from places like Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Missouri, Oklahoma, Saint Louis, TCU and Texas Tech.

On a weekend that was loaded with must-see matchups and games, there wasn’t any individual matchup more anticipated than 2024’s No. ranked player Tre Johnson of Dallas (Texas) Lake Highlands slated to go head-to-head with No. 2 Ian Jackson of Bronx (N.Y.) Cardinal Hayes during a nationally broadcast Saturday night game. Truth be told there was as much fizzle as there was sizzle before the night finished, but Johnson effectively held serve as his team took control early and cruised to victory.
Johnson got off to a slow start but showed signs of life late in the second quarter with some pretty jumpers and a slick dunk off a run through the lane. For the night he finished with 15 points on just 5-14 shooting (3-9 from three) to go along with three assists (five turnovers) and three steals. However, he gets the edge because of his team’s dominance and for coming up with some needed big plays early to make sure his teams lead stayed safe.
Johnson has great size for a two, a silky-smooth jumper and what really stands out is how aggressive he is. He’s No. 1 in the class right now and hits the floor like he’s a guy that knows he’s ranked in the top spot but feels like he still has to take it away from somebody. Arkansas, Baylor, Kentucky and Texas seem to come up the most in behind the scenes talk about his recruitment at this point but from the sounds of it things are still relatively open for him and all options are on the table. Especially since groups like the G League Ignite are chasing hard.
Like Johnson, Jackson got off to a little bit of a slow start and he actually finished with more points going for 23 on 10-19 shooting (1-8 from three), with six rebounds and three assists. A long and athletic two who is starting to show enough playmaking to spend some time as a primary ball handler, he’s got the better first step and pop at the rim between he and Johnson but isn’t quite as edgy a competitor and doesn’t shoot it quite as well.
Jackson actually played two games on the weekend and had 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists on Friday night when he played terrific team ball and made sure his teammates looked to four-star shooter Elijah Moore who was on fire from deep (more on him in coverage to come). He’s been to Kentucky (had an assistant watching him both nights), LSU (head coach Matt McMahon watched on Friday) and Oregon. North Carolina is up next and Arkansas (asst. watching on Friday) is among those trying to make headway with the explosive wing scorer.
