The other day I told you Time Horton was going to be floated out by someone in the media.
I guess today we all officially know who the puppet is and where the $$ booster is located that is going to put a kink in the hire. Stephens, go frick yourself because you will not get your way.

I don't mind him on staff in some capacity. But if he's anywhere near the head coaching position, we might as well just head on over to the Sunbelt or something.

I wouldn't even melt. I'd just quietly start following another team for 4 or 5 years and watch the Hindenburg from afar.
Edit: Actually, I'd just drive on down to Golden Corral and pick Bret up and bring him back to Fayetteville.

I have to think floating Horton is an attempt to adjust expectations so fans will be happy with whoever we hire as long as it isn't him. If the PTB are seriously considering him, god help us all.
