I’m pretty sure that’s why he was in the market for so long when Briles got here in December/January. People were wanting to play him at Safety or corner..
Everyone since Johnny Manziel believes they should hold out for QB even when they are told by every coach they should play another spot.

Heck, Peanut Adams made a good defensive back after he was moved from qb.
George Wilson made a good defensive back in the pros after being a receiver here.
I’d really like to see Drew Sanders at te, he could really help there with his speed and athleticism…just a few plays that wouldn’t interrupt his lb duties.
Sanders, possibly our best all around athlete, left Bama for playing time. Put that into perspective. That’s ridiculous depth they have and Georgia is there with them.

I don’t think anyone thought Hornsby would be afraid to throw the ball. He could have made any throw Fortin did and more. I’m sure Landers didn’t get open on just that one play.

That’s why I’m not mad about any losses to Georgia or Bama.
I do get mad at losses to Liberty, or straight shitting the bed against A&M after we were blowing them out.
