@NWAMatt: Arkansas season ticket holders are being surveyed on potential expansion and alcohol sales at Razorback Stadium LINK

Would suck for the sober people but I have a feeling this would be considered improving the gameday experience for all of us.

I've never really cared for sober people anyway.

Worth it for the money, who doesn't want a $9 beer?

Those sales are only for the new north end zone.
It also asked if you favored a $30 charge each game for all you can eat and drink. I clicked yes. You spend $30 in one trip to the concessions, maybe more.
Lease prices range from $1500-$2500/seat in the outdoor club of the north end zone. Not bad considering that covers your donation and seat cost.
We just finished our survey btw

I wonder if FPD is also getting a survey?
Big money in DWIs.

Not a lot they can do. Can you imagine trying to leave the stadium parking areas with people pulled over?
If you ever want to get away with drinking and driving, game nights are the time.

Would they have to make another jumbotron for the big spenders in the NEZ?

Two new screens will be added in the SEZ. One in each corner for the NEZ to see.

Yeah, they will be placed on the "columns" of the SEZ corners, it is like it was planned for the future to place some there when they expanded the stadium last time.

I think those are elevator shafts, but made to look bigger to look nicer on the outside.
This is a big time for our program. My family stated in the email we would commit to buying 6 leased outdoor club seats and consider the field level suites. This is our chance to pull out of Little Rock, and for Jeff Long to point at donors answer to the question of where they go to games. There were also boxes to leave comments, and I stated the only way I commit to seats in the NEZ is if I have all SEC home games in town.
My voice is only one, but most of the donors who will be interested in NEZ seats are more than likely located north of Little Rock(assumption).
The 10 year lease option is great. If you sign a 10 year lease, your seat prices WILL NOT go up. 3 year they could go up 5% and 5 years could go up 2.5%. That's brilliant. Long is testing the waters to see how many are committed to continued support in Fayetteville.
I just have a feeling this is going to be used for expansion, but also for ammo against Little Rock.

Long has been hinting towards this for a while now.
Personally, I don't care, if LR would settle for the FCS/sunbelt school on the opening weekend of deer season, that should be good enough for the time being, if not get a car that gets decent MPGs if you want to see a game and live in Central AR.
I also would love if they quit playing in Verizon in basketball if they can not set up a "premier" game as right now it hurts us by playing on a neutral court and not getting credit for it being as such with the selection committee.

I do t get the $$ issue people talk about with keepin games in LR. No telling how much money is spent on booze, rooms, etc for LR games. You're gonna spend a set amount anyway. But I've always been one of those that didn't understand people who are okay with spending $300 bitching about spending $50 more on a weekend gas wise to NwA.

Yeah, I use to go to LR all the time, have several friends who live there, but really for a town of its size there "is nothing to do", believe it or not Ft. Smith is on par now with LR as far as the entertainment scene is concerned, they have places that bring in national acts now like Juanita's and Stickyz use too/does.
But, with 540, NWA is about twice the drive time for me compared to Ft. Smith, about 45 minutes shorter than LR, but there is just as much to do, but everything is "cleaner", mainly to all the places being somewhat new.
