That will be the cost to replace Sam, every dollar wasted in football is a dollar kept from Muss and the basketball program.
Muss is the only winner on campus on the men's side and the only one with no ties to the school or the area, as soon as he's not happy he's gone.
Muss wants a palace again, but Arkansas doesn't have the money? Seems they would if they'd stop waisting it on a program they are not serious about winning with and secondary sports that very few give a shite about or watch.
HY - no one gives a shite about the 33 championships you are bragging about. They only care about two, one of which is with a program that is always mismanaged and has the lion share of the money wasted and less and less GAF about it.

Dear Razorback Nation:
As I approach the completion of my sixth year as your Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics, I want to thank you for your loyal support of our program. Whether it is our league best 33 SEC Championships in that span or our continued record-setting success in the classroom, we have done remarkable things by banding together as ONE Razorback!
On this occasion, I am asking for your assistance in helping us ensure future generations of student-athletes also have the opportunity to develop into Champions and Razorback for Life.
College athletics is in a period of transformative change. The current patchwork of state laws related to name, image and likeness and other issues critical to college sports is untenable and has the potential to fundamentally transform college sports to the detriment of many of our sports programs and student-athletes.
For many of the issues, only Congress can provide lasting solutions by passing federal law. We have been encouraged by the growing bipartisan interest in Congress to address the future of college athletics. There is promising momentum for federal legislation to provide national uniform solutions.
We have joined institutions from across two dozen conferences to form the Coalition for the Future of College Athletics (C4FCA), aimed at ensuring college sports is governed fairly and consistently through forward-looking federal legislation.
We need your help by sending a message to Congress that this issue is important to you.
You can help by clicking here to urge Congress to act on federal legislation. You can compel your friends to do the same. You can also further elevate the coalition by following and engaging on social media.
To learn more about why the future of college sports must be addressed now, go to www.C4FCA.com .
Thank you for your continued support of our program and most importantly your investment in the lives of Razorback student-athletes!
Hunter Yurachek
Vice Chancellor
Director of Athletics
