The weakest 3 at bats I've seen in D1 Baseball in a long time. Rowland and Bolton's lack of production at the plate will lose us more than 1 SEC series this year. Pitiful.....

Carter is just getting by with smoke and mirrors at this point. Kind of scary he’s made it this far without us clearly having better options.

I will honestly be surprised if we make it out of any Regional this year if Bolton and Cali are still starting by the end of the year. We have no choice with Rowland bc Polk is just that much shittier which is pretty bad.

That’s why it’s so incredibly frustrating that DVH keeps rolling out a lineup with Bolton and Cali in it.
Rowland is an automatic out but he has to play because Polk is somehow a worse hitter and not as good defensively. So having one automatic out in our lineup makes it absolutely necessary that we have a lineup that is optimized to squeeze every single ounce of production out of the rest of the order.
But no, DVH is content to basically concede a third of our AB’s right now.

What was so nice the last couple of years is that other than Slavens taking a couple of series off there was no one who we all said "oh shite" when it was their turn at the plate.
This year we have 3 or 4.
