Time to find another option at starter. McEntire is a glorified pitching machine.

If not for an amazing catch he'd have given up 6 runs on 3 homers in 4 innings against Wright fricking State.

We're really gonna miss Wallace in the infield this year.

I'll take credit for that Jones 2-run HR.

McEntire's 6.17 ERA practically makes him a Cy Young candidate by comparison

And that's with Ibuprofen robbing a grand slam today. Would have been even worse.

Yep.

Probably a completely different ballgame if he doesn't catch that.

So Football tanked, Basketball flew the coup, and now baseball is going to do what exactly?

I picked fine year to have season tix in all three...

I've said it ad nauseum this season, but the parallels between the football and basketball team this year are aplenty, from massively underachieving to injuries to an 'off' team chemistry to pissing their pants down the stretch.

I'm not overly bullish on the baseball team purely because of how much we lost in our lineup and because our pitchers outside of Hagen and Hunter are throwing batting practice, but it's still extremely early and they're playing pretty well right now.

Dave has proven he knows how to reload talent and that he will have them ready to play come time for the postseason. I will happily give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise

We only have three pitchers with an ERA under 5.00 — Hagen, Hollan, and Koty Frank.

Meanwhile, we have SIX pitchers with an ERA over 9.00. That's...not good.

The worst of our entire bullpen is Morris, who has the second most innings pitched (6.1) and still has a 14.21 ERA.

If it’s any consolation, Ledbetter lowered his ERA by 23 today

DVH said the staff was deep...he didn't say in which direction.

You guys are glass half full. We’re averaging nearly 10 runs a game with an new player at every position.

I expected to wining a bunch of 6-3 type games but I’m fine winning 10-5.
