Arkansas football equipment handles the apparel

@RazorbackEquip

Didn’t see much of it under Petrino but Bielema/Nike would send our pro guys stuff once or twice a year

His stock exploded like Moody's.

Teams are always search for that extra LB, corner, OT or pass rusher late.

Impressive that Parker went from offers of Georgetown, Houston Baptist and McNeese to in a week - Texas, TAMU, TCU and if had been earlier with more time Auburn, Nebraska and Notre Dame but time is about up.

We seeing any positives or negatives from the early signing period? Haven't followed recruiting much but seems like some of these guys that get blown up with offers right at the end could be common theme since many teams already have classes nearly full. Leaving plenty of time to spend on players that would have gone unnoticed otherwise.

IMO the ESP is all positive for the teams and coaches at the established programs without coaching changes (traditional powers) and mostly negative for the players. New coaches like ours had to scramble recruiting between taking a new job, finalizing a staff, visiting all the schools, etc.

The players typically were pressured to sign early and if they didn’t schools would look elsewhere as they viewed it as not being truly committed which I can understand. Also schools used the ESP especially as a tactic to flip prospects.

The early period would be better off in August before HS seasons starts and after the summer camps so commits that want to be done with the recruiting process can end it and focus on HS season.

Andrew Parker has taken all mentions of Arkansas off his Twitter profile so it looks like he’s flipping to Texas.

Noticed that also. Amazing how his stock soared after we offered him.

Arkansas: 8 on Roster, 2 commits.
Texas: 3 on Roster, 1 commit.

Possibly what he is looking at.

I'm sure the whorn fans will melt as bad as ours did when Parker committed to us..... right? It's not just our fans who are dumb and don't realize that there are a recruits who are overlooked.

All you had to do is watch Parker's film to realize that he was legit.

Either way, I hate texass. I don't like losing at anything to them. I hope we get matched up with them in a bowl game and go borderline erotic again. Can't wait to kick the shite out of them this year in baseball.

I looked at a Texas board and they seem to be stoked to land him.

At worst he’s a backup with Noland playing baseball. Having a dual athlete creates some uncertainty when it comes to spring ball/summer practice and I expect at least one of the three scholarship QBs on campus transfer after spring practice when semester ends in May. Smart to have three or four scholarship QBs at all times.

He's a baller. He reminds me of UCF's QB Mckenzie Milton
