The recruiting gurus of tardville are acting like Flanagan and whoever the O linemen who went to ND are basically all but signed with osu and ND. Apparently SMF has been recruited hard by osu, and had a very good visit.

It’s a very likely possibility that we lose both. Jones was a high risk of flipping before Bielema even got fired. He’s extremely interested in Notre Dame. I have no clue what’s up with Flanagan but he took one of those secret visits we’re always told about to Okie State so he’s definitely a risk to flip.

If they’re doing it in year 3 then yes. At this point, they’re just trying to fill a class that is only half full.
On the plus side, Texas just offered him as well so perhaps he could be that elusive diamond.

I’m glad to see it because going forward hopefully it will be the case with many east Texas players like they did at SMU. Offer early and often at a school like Arkansas.

Oh yeah that is what I want too for our model of recruiting. I was talking more about offering diamonds in the days/weeks before signing day.

Luke Jones will not be signing this week and is going to sign with his selected school on NSD instead.
It’s going to be interesting to see what happens here. Once schools don’t have to focus on 20+ commits like in years past, it may become a free for all for guys like this when other schools can actually take the time to properly evaluate him. He’s got more OVs left so someone outside of Arkansas and Notre Dame could still sweep in and land him.

Something very sketchy has gone down with this one. Either on their end or with us. I swear I read an article a couple of days after Morris was hired that he was pumped about speaking with Morris and now this.
