Which linebacker are you talking about I'm drawing a blank here. And yeah that class isn't looking too great, at least not the ones we thought would produce. That younger Henry must be a beast

He's probably talking about Derrick Graham.

Can't hit on an entire 24 player class. If we didn't have some attrition we would be signing in the teens some years.

Played: Rogers, C Jackson, Froholdt, Cantrell, Stewart, O'Grady, Rawleigh, Ledbetter, Greenlaw, Pulley, K Jackson, Reed

Haven't: Storey, Bell, Dean, Johnson, Gragg, Pettway, Merrick, Dalton, Smith

Graham, Allen and Sykes have left

A little early to start talking about busts in the 2015 class isn't it as long as they haven't left the team?

Is there some info out there that could be shared explaining why we should all write off Jamario Bell and Gragg?

They're RS freshmen.

Yea it's early. Bell getting moved to 6 or 7 TE was puzzling to me regardless his temperament. Hope in the 3-4 they can use him.

It's a fricking shame that we get 3 4star TEs, and most if them don't produce shite.

I mean depth has prevented them from really showing up

We had 2 more busts from that class in Jamario bell

too early to call a bust

Well, technically, he has. But you're right, he didn't, really.

I'm not really sure how you come to this conclusion? As sophomores, Cantrell will be a starter next year and O'Grady will most likely be the #2 or 3 guy depending on how another 4* TE, Jeremy Patton does when he gets here. So far the only one of the 3 that is trending towards bust is Gragg.

I'm starting to believe that. If he doesn't make a major impact I could see him transferring, La Tech level.

I wish I had a list of everyone on here that labeled him overrated as a TE on the recruiting board and then got mocked as sore losers by the other schools fans that thought they were going to land him. I know a lot of you caught hell but stuck to your guns and are looking like you'll be right.

I know there was someone on this board that has been saying he should've bulked up to play on the line since he was still in high school

I didn't really mean it as harshly as some of you guys took it, but with us cross training Hayden, trying to move bell when we needed DE going into this year (still do not understand this move, unless the rumor I heard about him not liking to hit is true), and going after a JUCO TE. The writing is there that they are not happy with the development of those 3 guys, or atleast not all of them.

It is the same feeling I got when we were shopping for transfer QB's in 2015. It was apparent they had little faith with what was behind austin. They seem to have found some faith in cole kelly.

Either way O'Grady started to show some stuff at the end of the season. Gragg idk about. I could be wrong about bell, but I think I've heard he doesn't like to hit, and I don't see him getting on the field as a TE with him being the 7th string guy.

Grayson Gunter got playing time toward the end of last season. If that's not a statement on Gragg's status in the depth chart then idk what is. The coaches definitely don't like him and I've seen nothing to suggest that he's made any progress on that front. He's just a kid that expected to ride on the coattails of his older brother without doing the work his older brother did, and that's what he's been since like 2013.

i know this isn't 2018 and I couldn't find the 2017 recruiting thread, but does anyone know what's up with Javon Franklin? The kid just seems to have crazy athleticism and potential. If we don't get a big to finish the 2017 class, is the staff potentially looking at Franklin?

Why isn't the kid rated higher? Academic concerns or what? TIA
