That should raise his composite on 247 then (I'm assuming ESPN is part of their composite?)

of course it'll make some of the other more notorious schools take more notice of him.
It's pretty easy to see which schools recruit off the recruiting sites.

Out of the box recruiting approaches...
w/ McClure onboard and the success of Brandon Weeden coming back to play college football after baseball, and Bubba Starling struggling to get to the majors (he's on the Naturals roster btw).
I hope our staff is keeping tabs on guys that take the MLB checks and forgo college and communicate w/ them as they stall out in the minors.
European Soccer Jr. Clubs for kickers, again kinda like those that stall out in minor league baseball and reach the peak of their ablities without getting to the ultimate level in their sport, maybe there could be some guys with silly powerful legs and athleticism that could pan out to be decent kicker prospects. I'm not seeing much separation between our scholarship K/P's and the walkons.
Australian/NZ Rugby and Aussie football. These guys get contracts as teenagers, the chance to play in bigtime American football collegiate leagues and make the transition to American rules football and the chance at the NFL has to be appealing to some of those players. Move to America, slay college poon, get an eduation cheaper than in Asia, there could be worse options.
Turkish and Iranian wrestling has some crazy athletes with skills that parlay into football with some coaching. These elite athletes will make up the time and experience, our Middle Eastern Studies program could be a conduit to bringing some of those type of athletes over and including them in the walk-on program.

Kid from Greenwood got offered today. Conor Noland? not 100% if I remember his name correctly, kinda got caught up w/ this Ole Miss fall from grace.

Correct. He is who A&M has their sites on too for the '18 class. I'm really glad we didn't drag it out. Now hopefully we land him.

Kolian Jackson just committed!

Dang that is a big time pickup. I really didn't think he would announce until after the summer.

lots of upside there!
34 WR's on roster, AirHog's a coming.

Huh? Depending on what they do with Hammonds, we'll only have 5-6 scholarship WR's on the roster after next season. We need to take at least 4 in this class to get the numbers right.

I'm just shitting around
We lose 5 WR's right? I think Hammonds will have to play RB.
The way they've handled Duwop has done him no favors. After it was apparent he wasn't going to have the stuff for a QB, they should have put him at Safety where his athleticism would have been a huge upgrade and coached the hell out of him to get him ready to contribute and then have 2 years to stud out.
Bouncing him around positions where he barely gets any snaps is going to waste his college career. Bert does a lot right but he's used Duwop to mask deficiencies in recruiting rather than find a way to get him on the field.

Basketball signed Brachen Hazen today. 6'8" SF out of Indiana. 247 shows offers from Arkansas, Clemson, UCF, Creighton, Maryland, Valpo, and St. Joe's.
Looks like a solid pick up. Kid signed with UCF in November and got out of it.
Hazen is the 6th kid in the 2016 class.

Some good news on the crootin' front.

"We talked about the depth chart and how I'm a really good fit for Arkansas," Brown said. "That's why I liked it because I'm a great fit. That's my dream school. I really liked it out of all my trips. It was the best trip I've taken." Brown, 6-1, 180, 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash, has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and others. He also has visited Alabama, LSU, Tulsa and Oklahoma State.
He heard glowing words about defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads. "They said he was a great coach," Brown said. "He knows what he's talking about."
ESPN rates Brown the No. 11 safety and No. 180 overall prospect in the nation. He had 112 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 8 pass deflections, a forced fumble and 5 interceptions with 3 returned for touchdowns last season. Brown spent time with freshman defensive end McTelvin Agim from Hope and redshirt freshman receiver La'Michael Pettway of Nashville.
He said Agim is trying to get him to Fayetteville. "He was recruiting me," Brown said. "He really wants me to come there because he knows I'm a great fit. He's getting me to lean there. I'm really thinking about Arkansas pretty heavily."

I also love the work that Kurt Anderson is putting in so far.
Anderson also dropped by to check in w/ a top 10 ranked OL Trey Smith out of Jackson, TN.
Pittman may have talked about being about it, but I think Anderson really is about it.

Arkansas offensive tackle target Dalton Wagner said he expects offensive line coach Kurt Anderson to visit his school on Monday. Wagner, 6-9, 300 of Richmond, Illinois plans to visit the Hogs during the summer.
Anderson visited the school of offensive tackle Foster Sarell on Tuesday. Sarell, 6-7, 320 of Graham, (Wash.) Graham-Kapowsin is rated the No. 7 offensive tackle and No. 24 overall prospect in the nation by ESPN.
