Old news (now) on Tyler Colquitt leaving the program, but evidently that opens up another scholly as well.

Didn't know about this. Was he a walk-on from PA?

Bielema said yesterday he left the program three weeks ago and that was all he said on the topic.

He got hurt, benched, never given another shot to get on the field.
He was given a scholly too, and hyped to be the next Kiero.
attrition is setting in for Berf.

meh. Kendrick Jackson will be a fine fullback for the next three years.

I'm wondering if we'll keep Kendrick Jackson at FB with Hayden Johnson coming in. No reason to keep more than one FB on scholarship every year.

uhhh Did the rash of injuries this year not teach you anything about depth?

Kendrick Jackson, Chris Jones, Hayden Johnson and maybe even Cantrell playing some in that role.

I got bored and watched some highlight vids for our #1 and #2 overall JUCO hoops commits and came away pretty damn impressed. Desperately needed some instant impact players and these guys fit that bill extremely well especially Macon.
If only we could get Monk too.

He didn't follow them back. Awkward.

Here is an earlier story before committing to us:
Arlando Cook, a 6’8 forward out of Connors State (OK), has informed JucoRecruiting.com that he has reopened his recruitment and is no longer committed to Nevada. Cook took an official visit to Nevada this fall and committed shortly after that visit. He was one of the more heavily recruited prospects in the 2016 class and should see heavy traffic from a wide variety of mid and high major programs.
Cook is one of the top forwards in the 2016 JC class and had interest or offers from LSU, Kansas State, Arkansas, Memphis, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Missouri and many others. Obviously not all of these schools will jump back in the picture because they may have moved on and locked in other players, but it wouldn’t be surprising if many of them begin to re-recruit Cook. He will also have plenty of new suitors who will get involved and begin to recruit him.
Cook said he hasn’t decided yet if he will try to sign in November with another school or wait until April and take his time with the recruiting process. If he doesn’t have a school in mind that he is heavily interested in, then he will most likely sign in April since the singing period is only weeks away. Stay tuned for updates on Cook’s recruitment.

So we now have the #1, #2 and #4 JUCO players committed for 2016 correct? Things are actually setting up pretty nicely for next year.
