Michel and Chubb were both freshmen last year. We didn't get a RB after Collins' freshman year either. You're trying to make the same argument for to-be juniors. By the way, Chubb and Michel are both to-be juniors now and they still got Elijah Holyfield and for a brief while, Whaley.
Depth chart didn't stop Elliott from going to OSU, Guice going to LSU, anybody ever from going to Bama, Patrick from going to FSU, Weber from going to OSU, etc..
You're seriously underselling how competitive most of these guys are. The bench doesn't cross most of their minds because they've never seen a bench before. Call it naivety, cockiness or whatever but they all expect to play because in their mind's they're all underrated, under appreciated, disrespected, and better than everyone else.
I played in high school with Jeff Driskel. He was a 5 Star, Gatorade POY and #1 QB. He fully expected to start at UF his freshman year and didn't give a frick about John Brantley already being there or Jacoby Brissett coming with him.

If Fulton goes anywhere except lsu that fanbase will eat him alive. I've never seen a post with that many Grammer errors not get mocked for pages on this site until that post.

Not this year, no. But I think the staff sees it as progress. You don't come into a school like Arkansas that hasn't been successful recruiting wise and instantly develop relationships you need. I think that's just logical. Obviously, you CAN convince someone early on in your tenure, but it's easier after you've known their coach for a few years and he can speak highly of you.
