More and more in-state kids are looking to flee the state but many aren't from here originally and I'm not sure how much the staff really wanted/pushed for Pettway.
I know for a long time they weren't interested in offering and had major questions about his agility, speed and ability to beat press coverage.
I think LaMichael could be used like Evan Engram for Ole Miss.
back in January after Ole Miss offered he said this:
“I want to play in an offense that can create as many opportunities for me as possible,” Pettway explained. “I want to be a part of a spread attack in college for sure.”

Meh, Pettway can go elsewhere, not very fond of him and neither is the staff.

yep. 6 months ago I'd have been pissed, but I saw him in the playoffs and he was a non factor against a bunch of kids that'll never sniff a college scholarship in football in any division.
He'll put up numbers obviously but I've also read that his hands are suspect and he is far from crisp on his routes.
Maybe I'm deflecting but my post history will show that I soured on him after seeing him in person.

Perhaps he realized that Arkansas was cooling on him (if in fact they are/were) and figured he'd better take the bird in the hand, Ole Miss.
Can't blame him for that, if that's the case.

@DannyWest1: #Arkansas commit @JamaripbellBell will not be attending Ole Miss' camp this weekend. He's decided against it. Still 100% with the #Hogs.
