I heard he can play 3 years too because he only did one year of Juco.

Why don't all high profile guys that go JUCO end up doing that? Guys like Jovon Robinson and Cordarrelle Patterson?

It has to do with the circumstances that sent them to JUCO from what I understand. The majority of kids have to go to two years because the have to have their associates degree before they can go on to a 4 year school because their high school gpa/test scores were too low to allow them in straight from high school.

Yep.

They let him sign hoping it could make it.

Lost it, I believe.

He could still come in 2 years (or sooner), on another scholarship, but that one for this year is gone for good now.

That's not how you win in the SEC. The Hootie rule made sign and place archaic and wasteful.

Not impressed with that decision, especially since we didn't land Payton Hendrix.

Not necessarily, its still 25x4 for 100 in 4, 125 in 5 with only 85 available.

Signing and place / signing with the hopes he makes, OK if he doesn't is fine for a program that redshirts the majority of the classes and/or has guys who stay 4-5 years graduate.

It has to do with the APR signing and later booting 40 guys in 5 years has an affect. If our program was like Bama or LSU having players leave with eligibility remaining to go pro, it would have a negative impact as your attrition is taking place in a positive manner as far as the APR is concerned.

I will not be surprised to see Arkansas start having recruiting classes less than 25 in a couple years, possibly less than 20 some years if Bert remains as HC.

I would agree with this 100%.

Ugh, that is not going to be helpful to our trolling
the rant efforts. I can see the Bert's so fat he didn't have room for a full class or the he's such a bad recruiter he couldn't even sign 20 flames.
