Don't remember the exact #'s, but starting in the superbowl this year were 0 5*, only 8 4*, and the rest were 3* or lower. 5 weren't rated at all out of high school.

The average hs star rating of each team's starting line-up this yr. in the SB was 2.4 stars, which is why I don't put a lot of emphasis on the "star" deal when recruiting hs players. They all are starting over when they get to the college level, and they'll either do what it takes to make it, or not, regardless of hs star rankings. Just who wants to perform bad enough at that level.

I agree. Add to that player development. Some coaches actually develop the players they have and make them better than they thought they could be.

Coach B is right up that alley.

Well the counter point is always there's a lot more 2*-3* players than 4*-5*. Thus giving a higher chance the 2 and 3 stars make it to the Super Bowl.

Which makes sense. Plus we should be worried about the star power on teams in college, not the NFL. It really all comes back to development, which thankfully Bert excels at

Once again, I cant see the last pages on this thread, this sucks.

Is this a server issue, and I guess I wont be able to see your responses.

Perhaps maintenance from all of these AD fees would help!

Is Reed closer to 6'2" or 6'4"? 247 has him as 6'4", but here he is listed as 6'2".

I've seen him in person (a year ago). I would say he's 6-3ish.

Solid class.... liked the fact there wasn't much signing day drama leading me to believe this class is 100% Hog and ready to do work!

It's even more humorous to see Arkansas fans offended by it.

Don't you need to actually make it up to Fayetteville for that to happen?
