BTW: I doubt you got to watch tonight's game, Kingsley and Portis were on the court at the same time a lot, it was horrible, Kingsley doesn't need more than 12 minutes a game until he develops further. Williams at the 4 with Portis at the 5 was a much better combo.

So one game is enough to form an opinion?

Good thing your first time seeing Kobe Bryant play wasn't Feb 12, 2013. 1 game. We shall see on Kingsley. But I don't understand why you're being so negative about a student athlete, though.

You still mad about the long thread where you showed you do not understand basketball well enough to understand what Mike does on the court?

And you did? You don't know shite. And your refusal to say yes or no tells me you're not objective because you know Mike or, possible, TJ. Friends even.

We needed defensive players, very few SEC level defensive players come from Texas.

We don't really have a true Texas recruiter. We've hit Florida a lot harder lately because of the connections on our staff. Is say it's worked.

It seems that although texas produces high rated product, Florida and others out perform imho...

However CBB is planning on hitting TX harder this year as per his presser today...

I know LSU signed the #1 WR, but do not have a QB to get him the ball, good thing they got the #1 overall and RB, must be nice to have that kind of in state talent a couple hours from campus.

But when will Arkansas be able to go into Louisiana and steal Leonard Fournettes? I ask because I care about the program.

We got 5 from Florida.

The kicker from Texas is the best in the nation. 1st team Parade All American.

Lost out to Stanford on the top Texas DE this morning. We were in the running for Kevin Shorter but he had a career ending injury this year. Landed an OT tackle out of Texas that everyone and their momma wanted.

I'm okay with it.

The same time other programs come in and steal Darren McFaddens and Bobby Portises.

They finished a whole 12 points ahead of us with 6 more signees.

That's a good point. I haven't looked at the avg stars per recruit.

...looked it up and they still had a higher average recruit ranking by a fairly substantial margin (rivals - couldn't find on 247).

But Kentucky is just the low hanging fruit. My point has always been that we can't expect great things being 11th.

That's how you're coming off. "When will we get the five stars needed to win a championship?"

You act like your opinion about recruiting is some new fresh take. We all know how important recruiting is.

He wants to discuss his version of reality instead of the actual reality.

Can't discuss the players in the class and how they fit the team, it has too be why didn't we sign Bama's class, we had the same opportunity to get those players.

Can't discuss the basketball team, its I don't understand the motion offense and presses, why doesn't Mike run set plays and not press.

Where have I said anything close to this? In fact, I've said I think we could make it work if we could consistently stay in the 6-8 range.

I have an incredibly simple take on our recruiting. Not my fault none of you (absent a couple) seem to grasp it.

All those other SEC teams ahead of us didn't get any players that fit their schemes?

They didn't do that while already having superior talent on campus?

You obviously didn't understand/read/comprehend a fricking word I said in that thread. Not surprising.

Michigan State just won the Rose Bowl and IMO at the end of the season may have been better than everyone besides FSU.

2014: 26th
2013: 37th
2012: 33rd
2011: 32nd
2010: 23rd

Just thought I'd throw that out there. The #1 defense in the country, mind you.

Motha fricking preach. I'd listen to an hour sermon on that one.

Home-grown pride isn't something you can negatively recruit. Had I been good enough in baseball, I wouldn't have even given another school a visit. My arse would be heading straight to Baum. Some other players feel the same way.

Well then please, enlighten us all. Are you saying that we need to finish better than 30th in recruiting to win a national championship?

You must be a savant.
