You gave me a slight tingle in my pants until I went and looked and saw it's one of the SigningDay.com guys.

Ramsey is now official everywhere.
Frazier isn't coming here. SigningDay guy should've stuck with USC if he's going to flip anywhere.

This was in an article in the Miami Herald about Ramsey:
Dillard star linebacker Randy Ramsey was already a top priority recruit for former UM coach Randy Shannon before Ramsey put on a pass-rushing clinic and earned South Player of the Game honors at the National Underclassmen All-American game on Monday.
Flashing the explosion from the edges that helped him register 23 sacks and 28 tackles for losses this past season, Ramsey tallied three sacks and five tackles for losses to lead the South team over the North 26-13 at Doug Shaw Stadium in South Carolina.
“It was a great experience,” Ramsey said. “I got to go against other top guys from different states and see how I stack up against them.”
Shannon, who serves as Arkansas linebacker coach, will try to get the 6-3, 205-pound LB/DE and ESPN three-star prospect to make an oral commitment when Ramsey takes an official visit on Jan. 24.
“I’m being recruited mostly at outside linebacker but I could possibly switch to defensive end if I gain some weight,’’ Ramsey said. “I’m going to bring speed and physicality to a program. I’d sum up my senior year as explosive.”
Ramsey, who said he also holds offers from Kentucky, Wake Forest, Rutgers, N.C. State, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky and Illinois, formed a devastating pass rush tandem with Arthur “Rico” Kennedy (23 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, five fumble recoveries, one touchdown return) this past season.
Together, they helped Dillard (8-4) rattle off eight wins in nine games before bowing out to eventual Class 6A state champion Miami Central in the Region 4-6A semifinals.

maybe that is there projection of where he would play at the next level?
Robert Turbeville @rturbeville247
Ramsey is rated as a safety but is expected to play OLB for Hogs. Played DE as a senior and CB as a junior.

Just weird to see a guy who might play DE be listed as a safety

Must be that they go off his measurables of around 6-3 and 205 or 210

He played DE in high school. They basically just lined him up on the edge and told him to go get the QB.

read that RD goofed in the paper and had Liddell's commitment as No. 18 - so I guess he's dropped at least 2 from his commit list right now

Yep, hope we close strong with this class.
The 3-9 didn't do us any favors.
We could finish strong enough to maybe break the top 25. Unfortunately that's equal to about 8th to 10th in the SEC.
Help where it's needed is more important than the rankings with this class though.
