just read a new interview from Duds with Tyler Hayes...I cant post it b/c its 'premium' content....however, Hayes sounds like a good kid that realizes he made a mistake and is making a real effort to turn things around...in addition, let me say this. this is the kind of talent we need at MLB and I don't give a flip about what happened before....his exact words were 'I would jump at the chance to play at Arkansas'....this needs to happen and I sure as heck hope it does

I'm torn on Hayes
I mean, it was a very violent crime. Not just an oops, sorry crime. He was part of literally beating a student senseless and robbing him.

I'm all for him coming to Arkansas. Former criminals (Newton, Marshall, Mettenberger, etc.) dismissed from SEC schools that return to different SEC schools have quite an impressive track record these past few years. If this trend continues, Hayes could be the greatest linebacker to ever play for tFlagship.
Or he could kill someone.

Agreed. Would be a great on-field get at a huge position of need, but the guy committed a heinous crime on a fellow student.

Because one was not directly involved in the beating. He only used a stolen credit card.
3 others literally beat the living shite out of a kid so bad, he was not recognizable to his friend who he called, when he woke up.

sorry, i have a bad habit of typing how i would say something aloud. there was another 'why didn't ark hire gus' thread. the usual comments, crow pie came in to try to rile everyone up, said something about gus was about to win the champ and bert sucked (or to that effect). ctothev told him that you can't rush a perfect ragu. it was funny at the time- i think i just ruined it with my interpretation.

Ahh... I was thinking that "love it to shite pie" was some expression I'd never encountered that just meant you really, really liked something.
So my brain was parsing it as:
I loved your comment last night, "you can't rush a perfect ragu," to shite pie.
But then I saw the "something like" and then noticed the other words were in another order so it became a mindfrick
