Cornelius told the staff he wasn't going to TCU.
Nacho will probably end up at TCU as well IMO

No way he goes to TCU. A&M or Oregon most likely for him.

The brother is a big influence on the kid.

Highly touted receiver Frank Iheanacho said his official visit boosted the Hogs' chances of landing him. He seemed surprised by what Arkansas had to offer. Very glad he made the trip.
He said the coaching staff and fan base were some of the highlights of the trip. He said the team made him feel at home.
Iheanacho, 6-7, 220, of Houston Westside, was hosted by running back Jonathan Williams. He previously made official visits to LSU and Texas A&M. Left this afternoon to go to Oregon.
He said Ducks will be his last visit. Plans to announce at the U.S. Army All American game. - RD

I'd swap Cornelius for him.
Longshot though, huh?
Wonder what appeals to Cornelius about TCU?
I know they have been fairly successful over the last few years, but not nearly the visibility of the SEC or Notre Dame or other offers he had.

The fact that they just hired the Houston OC and told him they are going to throw it 50 times a game.

This year TCU averaged right at 35 passes a game.
419 pass plays vs. 403 rush attempts, relatively balanced.
2012 right at 33 passes per game.
Previous to that much more run oriented.
Do you think Patterson is really going to go that pass heavy, 50 per game?

I do think they will. He is looking to reinvent the offense after falling flat on their face their first two years in the Big 12.

I have to admit that I am very happy that we whiffed on this guy. TCU has never been a power; a few wins over some of the 'Big Boys' doesn't mean that you are a ready for a major conference. And they have proven that they are not. Why not stick to and refine a formula that his landed you on every top 10 coaches list I've seen the past 5 years??? I don't get it. Any offense run well is going to make you successful if your defense is good.
Supposedly, GP is a genius with the D. So stick with your game.
Now GP has decided to completely retool his offense. This is a desperation move that won't turn out well for him IMO. In fact, it reminds me of the early 70's when every damned team was running the wishbone--the defenses were seeing it every week, and got very good at defending it. The same will happen to the spread.
This is a clear sign that GP has jumped the shark. And it was very very stupid for a kid to fall for it.

How is changing his OC gonna effect the defense at all? He's the head coach. Just because he's defensively minded doesn't mean both sides of the ball aren't still his responsibility.

Maybe I'm crazy but I still think gary patterson is a great coach that we would be happy with here. He's still at tcu, it's tought for me to understand why everyone says these schools wouldnt make it through a regular schedule undefeated and when they can't everyone all the sudden says the coach sucks.

Because he is still a good coach. He didn't get to magically upgrade all of his players to B12 talent when they changed conferences. It takes time.

So is Kendrick Edwards our backup plan for Frankie Nachos?

It'd be like Bret switching to the spread. TCU has run the ball well and now is going to switch to a spread passing attack. As we have seen, changing offensive philosophies takes time. And having a lot of three-and-outs keeps your defense on the field an awfully long time.
I just think that he is trying to become TTech or Baylor, which isn't his game. He won't recruit enough horses to be two-deep along the entire D, so keeping his troops fresh is a concern.
We'll see

Speaking of TCU, any word on Swain?
