Josh Frazier is the speculation. He and his mom were at practice last night.

holy shite. I just lost a lot of intellectual respect for several mizzou posters. That dude isn't even giving it a good effort to troll them. He just came back with a maybe not when he was dead wrong about everything he said. God I love recruiting trolls, when don't involve us.

Solomon Thomas Update via 247.
Gonna be hard to pry him from Stanford. Thought I would share anyway.
quote:
Who’s still on the list for the 5-star defensive end? “Stanford, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor, Notre Dame, Alabama and Ohio State,” Thomas said. “All eight are still recruiting me and I’m still considering all eight of those schools.”
Who will get official visits? “Stanford and Arkansas for sure,” Thomas said. “I don’t have dates for those yet but I know those two will for sure. The others are still up in the air.”
quote:
Stanford - “I really like the opportunity I have at that school. How the team is. No one is better than each other. They have a great staff. I love their academics. Their coaches coach their butt off.”
Arkansas - “They have a real genuine staff. They get players on the right track in life. They have a great strength and conditioning coach. Its all about the details. I respect their staff. I really like running backs coach (Joel) Thomas.”
Gonna be hard to pry him from Stanford. Thought I would share anyway.

Of all the recruits i'd like to land he is definitely at the top of my list.

Agreed. His game tape is ridiculous, and by all accounts is a quality locker room guy. High character. He's the whole package.

He's been up here a bunch, but how do you turn down that Stanford education?

Just noticed that we don't have one single LB committed yet? WTF, who are we looking at besides Raheed (sp?)and who do we think we would get?

Well, if you can finish a degree there on schedule, you don't.
Its like the O-linemen from NWA that had interest from Arkansas but ended up going to one of ht Ivy League Schools instead because he had no desire to play on the pro level.
Obviously these schools have the academic prestige as an advantage, but they also have the disadvantage of finding guys who can stay eligible at their school.

Has he ever mentioned what he'd like to major in?
I know 1 out of 300 recruits actually give a shite about their major and such, if he's a techie and a science/law/finance/politics guy then Stanford is where he's headed.
If he's more into looser collar type of careers then we'll have a legit chance. I just hope he's not being a nice kid and placating his sister and the coaches and actually has interest in us.
He could step right into Chris Smith's spot and play quite a bit next season. If Flowers jumps to the NFL we get thin at DE kinda quick.

One or two of the guys who're listed as DBs are going to play LB iirc
