...my fiancee' finally convinced me to sign up for twitter. I'll admit, the stuff you get from journalists (all sports) makes it pretty cool. NBA and MLB trade/free agency was pretty exciting.

I'm not adamantly against them, I am just content with trolling my friends Facebook accounts and saying dumb shite on this site. I don't have the time to be on a million social network sites.

Yes. Rafe is supposedly going to enroll for spring as well as another that I can't recall, more will probably be added.
It will be interesting to see if they take a full 27 or just 25 to have a couple left for next year.
80 scholarship players on the roster with only 15 seniors leaving, so really there is only 20 spots if no one else leaves, although I have a feeling some guys will be told to leave and replaced with better prospects. Of course I do not recall the exact amount of walk-ons using schollys this year, so the 80 number could be fudged by opening the schollys back up (if it included them which I don't think it did).

I guess I'm just confused on how it works.
I thought coming into this class we could take 27, we have taken 2 that count back to last class, so we could now take 29 total, with 2 counting back to 2013 but they are still part of the 2014 class on recruiting sites.
Is that not how it works?
We could have 29 on our 247 team ranking, but 2 of those count back to 2013 class.

You can only take 25 each year.
All these recruits are 2014 recruits.
If a recruit enrolls during the winter break for spring semester and a scholarship that wasn't used in the previous year for a new signee is available, that player can take that scholarship and "count back" to the previous class.
For scholarship purposes he would be a 2013 recruit (late signee) for recruiting sites purposes he would count as a 2014.
27 is the total number of new recruits for this recruiting cycle.
All these recruits are 2014 recruits.
