Someone on HV posted this a long time ago. I hate the 'lock' thing, but it's a good one to use.

Pretty cool that it's a co-op, well it was when it started. I don't know much about it since the move off Dickson. I hope they buy from local farmers and suppliers. There would be plenty of free range and natural gardening and farming techniques due to the hippy dippys and old school farmland in NWA. Doubt it would be viable to only sell at Farmer's Markets and to the Co-Op though.

The co-op does some local sourcing and also brings in some people. The reason I ask is that i've recently been put in contact with some people that work there. I was just curious if anyone else has had to listen to their obnoxious bullshite....It's like talking to those 99% people that keep picketing random shite around town.

They get a bit terse when imply that they're an exact copy of the Whole Foods stores.

There were a couple of times when I was in the checkout line and the employees would start chatting and not bagging my groceries and it wasn't necessarily hipster doofuses, either. Just the usual hippiesh bullshite, "time means nothing" vibe which was really irritating. I had to say "Seriously?" out loud the second time this happened and they seemed bummed out that they actually had to do something. The only reason I went there was because they had some things I couldn't buy elsewhere. Whole Foods can be sort of like that at times, too. They weren't trying to be rude or aloof (most employees were nice), but it was irritating and unprofessional.

Most anyone that knows me can vouch i'm not normally grouchy about anything but i've seriously had to quit hanging out with a friend because of this ozark foods girl....I just don't have the patience to deal with the bullshite and I'd rather just avoid the situation than speak what I actually think because the hippy bitch fit she'll throw after I get finished will ruin the friendship.

We need to make this happen. The whole flagship thing has spread like wildfire and I don't see why this won't spread at least that fast if not faster.

Speaking of hippies, I went into Hammontree's yesterday to pick up an order and ran into a big walking stereotype.

This white girl with dreads must have doused herself with patchouli because you would get a big whiff of it everytime she walked by.

It's like come on girl really? Your hair looks retarded and you smell like shite, congrats I'm not attracted to you.
