Looks like Garrick McGee is a chip off the ol' Petrino.
His class @ UAB has 21 commits, 0 OL, 1 DT, 5-7 WR and 5 S.

Do they have more they can take though? Big 10 isn't like the SEC with the stern 25 rule?

Have no idea, they have a deal where they can only take to replace what they had going out to get to 85.
It is a hard cap deal that is why so many B1G teams have small recruiting classes each year. Of course that is LOIs, could be some greyshirts in their commit lists.

So Nebraska is losing 14 Seniors, 1 is no longer with the team, 2 are expected to transfer after graduating early, and they had a scholly left over from last year, that is 18. The B1G allows teams to over sign by 3 each year. Apparently, teams are to turn in the amount they expect to have available next year + 3 so Nebraska really only has 21 spots available.

I believe the Big 10 was the first BCS conference to impose signing caps.
I remember in 2007-8 at the beginning of this SEC dominance streak that Ohio St. and Michigan fans were whining that the Big 10 didn't allow oversigning and the SEC had a competitive advantage because of it.

Some sites are saying there is a silent commit to 2beez that will announce publicly at later date, probably him.
Need to sit down and figure out 2beez success rate of OV=signee rate, has to be the highest we have ever seen since recruiting has become as public as it is now days...
