You think the U of U pays people of color to congregate during visits like extras on a movie set?

Funny considering BB's much-ballyhooed statement regarding SEC recruiting tactics.

You mean Urban flirting with violating NCAA rules by "accidently" bumping into recruits around their schools and hometowns during times not allowed for contacts and such, tactics Urban later apologized for and promised to stop?
And that was the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey use to say.
Its funny because the comments about recruiting committed players was actually comments from some other B1G coach, Minnesota's at the time, IIRC, FWIW, but for some reason keep getting attributed to CBB.

Why does everyone hate the Catfish Hole? I dont care about the place one way or the other but that place flipped Otha and solidified Koehler. It seems to be a magical building. Let the magic work.

You're giving Catfish Hole too much credit. The magic is with the fans, the fans can and will go anywhere the recruits are hosted at. I've come to realize with all the off campus student housing off Wedington it might not be that bad of a thing taking them out there, but we believe on this board that there are at least 4 or 5 nicer places that could be used and still have that awesome atmosphere.

Reading Hogville's threads about the new names popping up is hilarious. Apparently Dre'Vian Young is a highly elusive Joe Adams-esque stud RB who definitely runs a 4.3 and not 4.63 like his profile says. Just look at how he outruns all those other high school kids!
Don't get me wrong, I'm optimistic too and I do think that Young looks like a good athlete, but it's truly amazing how quickly HiV shoots its wad over literally any name that gets mentioned.

Yeah that place cracks me up. If they don't come here we didn't need them anyway and they weren't that good. If they do they are way better than their ranking.

Richards latest blog post says Monty is having some issues in the classrom and doesn't look likely to sign.

Boyz I'm a little concerned heading into the home stretch. We have needs that need to be met immediately and it seems we are hoping for homerun commits without too much backup plan. I've got no hopes that we flip Tenpenny and just think Collins is pipe dream. We need Dline help and I don't see it being addressed. Was hoping we flipped Skipper but didn't seem to which would have been big OLine news. I know there's still two weeks and some change but man I'm nervous about this class. Someone throw some knowledge and make me feel more optimistic.

Coach 2B's can't recruit. This years recruiting class is gonna suck. It's never gonna get any better. The world is coming to an end

I think you are missing my point. I think he can recruit and next year's class may be one of our best ever the way it is starting out. I'm just worried that it won't matter because this one may be unsavable.

I don't think this is a bad thing. I mean if next year's class is really stacked like everyone says it is, we can count schollys back to take moar like aTm did this year, otherwise there wouldn't be enough room for everyone.

If we land most of the following I would feel much better:
D. Kirkland, M. Nelson, S. Moore, D. Alexander, E. Jackson, D. Allen, A. Collins, and A. Tenpenny. I'd take Jordan Wilkins in place of either Collins or Tenpenny as well.
That's what would make me feel better.
