Harding would not redshirt, really figured he would.

Probably going to see a situation like Petrino's first year where several incoming freshmen are forced to play because we have to have the play due to lack of depth and the fact they are better than what is there at their position on the depth chart.

Maybe not at WR since we have like 50 of them on the roster, but I wouldn't be surprised to see this a lot on the defensive side of the ball and maybe a couple positions on the line and obviously RB since there really isn't a need to RS a RB.

I didn't even realize that this kid was still uncommitted.

From RD:

quote:

WR Devon Allen of Phoenix Brophy HS said he recently talked to Hog offensive cooridnator Jim Chaney and he's deciding whether to officially visit Arkansas or Arizona St. Allen said he's talked to Arkansas' track coach too. He's one of the top football/track prospects in the nation.

2014 DL Craig Evans, 6-3, 325, 5.0 of of Sun Prairie, Wis.said he decommitted from Wisconsin because he felt like he rushed his decision and now plans to take his time and give other school, including Arkansas a shot. He cited his relationship with defensive line coach Charlie Partridge's people skills for his interest in the Hogs. He said Partridge is the type person that you can talk to for the first time and feel like you've known him for a couple of years.

We're probably his #1 now. He's originally from Mississippi, moved to Wisconsin a couple years back, I believe.

Really?

Is he Wisconsin's #1 ranked recruit, or by chance will he be so we can get those bonus points in the rankings like Auburn was getting with Dyer and Frazier?

Since Rankins fricking matter on this board and HiV.

ETA: Doesn't VanHorn get recruits from Wisconsin and Ohio all the time for the baseball team?

Yeah, if we get this kid plus Jackson and Frazier, hell of a DL start to 2014.

I can't think of anyone else that it would be. Maybe Pat Martin. He still has no offers I believe.
