I beat him 45-31, he was Ark I was Florida.

I aired out a bomb for a good 45 or so yard TD and was like "Keon Hatcher style right there".
Was kinda hard to understand him, mic, and how he talks and all. Was a struggle, probably why we didn't talk much, I didn't know wtf he was saying most of the time.

It's infuriating seeing Hog fans and other team's fans, alike, criticizing our recruiting. Logically, no one should have expected much. But, of course, most of the people bitching about our recruiting are the same ones who were just fine with us hiring an interim coach in the first place.
I said it then. Going the interim route will set the program back 2 years. 2013 recruit will suck. 2014 recruiting will suck slightly less. So I'd expect a pretty Nutt'esque drop to 4 or 5 wins by the time we reach 2016.

I tend to agree. My #1 college hire would be Mark Dantonio. If we can't pry him away from MSU then I would go after Briles, Charlie Strong or James Franklin. All three are guys that I think we could realistically get that are all top notch recruiters. We're not going to get anyone on Petrino's level so its imperative that we get a good recruiter.

I disagree
We have talent on campus now that will be here with the new coach. We have a solid, not fantastic, but solid class going now. We have depth and young talent on the Oline, QB, RB, WR, DB, LB, and some on the DL. This roster that we have now is more "adaptive" to a coaching change than what we had in place in 2008. That roster was terrible. They were not open for change and there was no leadership.
This group of men we have now demands leadership out of one another. Its a night and day difference.
We don't lose 2 recruiting classes with an interim hire. A new coach will come in and firm up who we have and go after kids that fit his mold when he arrives. 8ish wins is probably likely next season, in the new coaches first year. Recruiting will be the same as it always has been here...top 20-30 class.
If Arkansas goes out and wins 10 plus games this year and also makes a splash hire, obviously the kids will be interested.
Bottom line, I don't agree with your two years lost because we went the interim route.
