D'Arthur Cowan moved in today and Demetrius Wilson is expected by next weekend. I still haven't seen a firm word on Vin.

Vin's gotta get off his momma's tittie soon.

I hope RD isn't getting sold a bill of goods on this one. If true, it most likely means that we lead for Boyd as well.

I won't believe it until LOI is faxed and the kid completes his So. year of eligibility for the Hogs.

All our recruiting guys make me nervous when they put stuff out there like this. Sometimes I think they leave out the important part like "Arkansas leads Nebraska....but still trails Missouri."

How are my fellow Hog fans holding up on the grim grim news today that John Clay Reeves is transferring to JUCO?
Baseball iz dead.

I actually liked Reeves. But him leaving just shows how legit little Bax must be.

I would imagine Blake would redshirt but not now, Wise will start weekends and Reeves would have still gotten midweek and rare weekends games but I guess that wasn't enough.

OT Zach Hannon, 6-5, 300, 5.1 of Kansas City Rockhurst said he’ll likely join DE Jamone Boyd on his trip to Arkansas on July 21.

Trevorris Johnson is visiting later this month. We currently lead for him but I'm not sure we would take his commitment just yet.
We're obviously still keeping in contact with Tenpenny and James is still considering us so I think we just slow play this one for now.

Any vid on him? He looks like he could be nasty.

So the in-state class looks pretty weak on the recruiting services (of course it always does), Past Tenpenny, Henry, and the 3 from FHS it's looking pretty thin.
Anyone have some insight on Bryton Booher, Stockton Mallett, Korliss Marshall, Tony Jones, Tearris Wallace, BJ Ross, Jemar Clark?
Has LR and Ft. Smith just quit producing football players?

It's an incredibly down year for the state and is extremely top heavy. After the first five it's questionable whether anyone else will get a BCS offer much less actually commit to a BCS school.

Booher and Mallett are definitely the top two linemen in the state. I think both are coming back for the July 21st camp. I can see them earning an offer if they do well at the camps and come later in the year we have struck out on our higher rated OL targets. They definitely aren't plan A or B targets right now.
I would say we have quite a few running back prospects ahead of Marshall and Wallace. I don't see Korliss ever getting an offer but Wallace could possibly get one late as well if he has a huge senior season like is expected. It will probably depend on the coaching style of the next OC as well. I think they both are to small for what BP would have preferred.
I don't really know much about BJ Ross. CJ Gooden is the best LB in the state imo and he would be first in line to get an Arkansas offer. Although, he is supposedly pretty loyal to his word and sounds like he isn't going to attend any camps and stick with his commitment to Tulsa.
Jemar Clark was a '12 recruit and he signed with Arkansas St.

LR has definitely slowed up a bunch but they've still had 7 guys go D1 in the last 5 years. The problem is only two of them (Garrett Uekman and Neal Barlow) have actually signed with Arkansas and they are both gone obviously. We could still land Henry but we have lost the other four to Auburn x2, Alabama and Oklahoma St.
Ft. Smith most definitely has dropped off big time. They all go to Greenwood now it seems but even then it's not high caliber guys outside of Tyler.
