No TOs ... Can't give an extra possession to LSU

Execute on first down. It's an SEC defense regardless of stats and getting predictable just makes it easier

Ability to sustain a time killing 7min TD drive ...especially in 4thQ

Offense - win on 1st down. 2nd and 6 or less. Anything more than that narrows the play book. Can not constantly keep putting the offense in 3rd and long

Offense - Called runs for JM. True read option and/or QB draw. On plays down the field that take longer to develop, if the 1st read is not there, tuck it and get out of town. Quit giving this kid calculus when his ceiling is algebra. And for the record, there's nothing wrong with an algebra ceiling.

Defense - Don't get cute. Send pressure early so it's in their head. Rush with discipline and make Daniels beat you from the pocket. He's not that guy.

Defense - If Chris Brasswell is covering a receiver 40 yards down the field I'm calling the FBI.

Run the ball well. 175+ yards. Get the backs going and Jalen involved with designed runs.

Win the turnover battle.

Contain Daniels as a runner.

35 points will be enough to beat LSU. Possessions are more important than they use to be with the new clock rules. 4 possessions in the 1st half and 17-21 points would be great for BAMA.
5+ possessions (force one turnover at least) in the 2nd half would mean a BAMA victory with another 17-20 points in those possessions.
Holding the ball is key. Reduce their possessions down to 7 total possessions means that they can only score a max of 56 points. If you can hold them scoreless on just two of them, that drops their max output to 40 points. They won't go for 2 every time they score so, that drops it to 35. Force 2 fgs, that gives them 27-31 points total.

Limit their number of possessions with time of possession and by not turning the ball over.
Score more TDs than FGs by 2:1 (4 TDs, 2 FGs).

If LSU gets 10+ possessions, they win.
I don't see LSU punting more than 2 or three times and winning.

BAMA avgs approx 0.493 points per play on 62.25 plays per game. If they hold true to that and get 75 plays, BAMA wins.

What's really interesting, is if BAMA could just have two 14-16 play TD drives (or four 7-8 play TD drives) with two 3 and outs by LSU, that would all but assure victory.

Run the ball right at Pickens.

Limit Daniels' scrambles on third downs and get the defense off the field.
