that's subjective. we don't know how much young guys will improve

person against MSU we ran go routes a lot. Nothing imaginative at all. It’s not helping out WR’s at all. When you have average WR’s you scheme them, aka Auburn, they did it well for years.

Metchie and Jamis had no problems getting open.

Okay so college offense only can work if you have two first round WRs getting thrown the ball by a Heisman level QB.

No, but since 2017 that seems to be the formula for winning national championships, and considering we are the top program in the country, there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to find 2 or 3 1st or 2nd round WRs over 3 recruiting classes

Georgia won the national title just last year with a walk on quarterback and run of the mill receivers, and their most productive wide receiver transferred to Alabama.

And here you are again talking about recruiting great receivers but have totally ignored the fact that in 21 Alabama signed 4 of the top 10 and in 22 3 of the top 12. If Alabama missed on those kids then so did every other major college that was offered them, including programs that are consistent contenders.

Bottom line is you are a troll, and I said so not long after you arrived here, or you're just a simple moron.

Yeah. Except for Bowers, McConkey and Mitchell, you nailed it.

In 2021 Burton had the most receiving yards of all UGA wide receivers (that's the topic, you know) and tied with MoConkey with 5 tds. Bowers is a tight end.

Why don't you check statistics first?

edit: Here. It isn't difficult.... LINK

Burton led their wide receivers in yards and touchdowns. Bowers is a tight end. His statement was factual.

Edit: Beat me to it.

Bowers is a TE INO.
I also don’t agree Burton was their best WR. UGA wouldn't have let him get away if that was the case.

Stetson Bennett is an excellent college QB that most teams across the country would take in a heartbeat.

Secondly, Bowers, Pickens, and Adonai Mitchell are all elite receivers.

Soo you're wrong.

Lol who sees the irony this idiot left out Burton, their (UGA) best WR... who looks bang average a season later at Alabama with an even better QB?

This idiot still can't comprehend the coaching impact... or maybe he does and he's a UGA/LSU troll

There is no doubt our staff has whiffed on recruiting WRs in the '20 and '21 classes. They signed highly rated guys, but no one from those classes has developed into an alpha go to WR1. Hard to believe you can miss on that many highly rated recruits. It's an indictment of someone or something that we have to go fishing in the transfer portal instead of developing our own guys. Has our WR coach changed since 2018-19? Now I think some of our freshmen WRs have potential. I think Brooks has potential, but time is running out to realize it.

Ever since Julio it seems we've had that WR1 first round WR...Julio to Amari to Calvin and then we hit the jackpot with multiple first round WR talents at the same time. This year reminds me a little of 2011 with Hanks and Maze in the season between Julio and Amari. Of course, we won the NC that year, but it was also a different offense.

Anyway, it stinks we don't have an elite WR for Bryce's last season...but maybe someone will step up and grab the mantle as Bama's next WR first round draft pick. The Jeudy-Waddle-Smith-Ruggs era was an anomaly, but there's no excuse to not have at least one elite WR developed with some good complimentary guys around him with the way we recruit.

Well because talent is just talent; it can't develop itself.

So ask yourself what has changed the last two seasons? Only thing is coaching.

We have tons of talent.
