Why is there little talk about our OL play against Tennessee?

I’ve watched and rewatched the game several times, and I have to say that I’ve seldom seen a game in which an offensive line was whipped so soundly. I generally don’t point out individual play, but the performance by our left guard is some of the worst play I’ve seen since we had Chris Capps on our offensive line. It without question makes a difference that our starting center was out. The backup center was getting whipped almost as regularly as the left guard. I echo all of you in regards to Grubb, as he does not have any feel for the game’s rhythm or stay with whats’s working. It seems it is an afterthought for him to run the ball. But back to the offensive line play. For those of you that would like insight into what I’m talking about, watch the 30 minute clip by the film guy on YouTube. It was pointed out earlier by one of our members, and it is definitely worth a watch.

Pretty simple, we did not invest like we needed to in the OL last portal cycle. We brought in entirely new players but it is looking like we just replaced mediocre linemen with more mediocre linemen.

If not for our starting center being out, then 52 would have replaced 70 at LG.

77 and 64 got their azz whipped play after play as well. I do recall seeing OL coach giving the OL his opinion of their play and he wasn't happy.

Truth is the entire team failed miserably on Saturday along with the entire coaching staff.

There is a pattern to Kalen's teams.

Saturday is huge. Forget playoffs.

Very talented team but also very soft.

Bama's been going this way steadier since 2018 and with DeBoer, toughness just fell off the charts.

#2 is an NFL player and he destroyed our interior (LG, C).

That is just part of the game. Sucks we didn't have our NFL level DT because had we he would wreck shop similar

Sanders committed a fricking false start in a game where it was his responsibility to watch for Russell's leg for the snap. How the hell do you jump when you're literally looking backwards at the QB?
