We've hit our defensive ceiling with Golding as DC

Seasons ago we all hoped Golding would grow into the DC job. But, every time he faces a good to elite offensive mind it's not that he gets beat or out-schemed but it's that he's outclassed. It's time to get a new DC once the season ends.

Really hoping OU finds an excuse to get rid of Venables.

We don't need a big name like Venables. We just need a competent DC. A competent DC with our talent puts his defense in better situations than we saw today.

I get that, he’s just a well established Defensive mind who’s off to a rocky start. It’s obviously wishful thinking.

It's time to nab some new coordinators this offseason, that's for sure, even if that means Saban has to *GASP* fire someone, instead of "encouraging them to look elsewhere"
