I’m not trying to take anything away from SMU but Miami could beat them by 3 Touchdowns. They have the capability. Cal at times has challenged good team so that isn’t a walk in the park for SMU either.

Based on the rankings if we beat Auburn which should happen,
USCe beating Clemson would move us up to 12.

And 12 does is zero good.

We have to move up 2 spots to #11. Need Clemson loss to USCe plus another non-Boise upset:

Purdue over Indiana
Cal over SMU
Syracuse over Miami
Vandy over Tennessee
USCw over Notre Dame

All of those are double digit dogs as well. Plus the Bama OU game provided a cautionary tale of what can happen if not prepared.

Like many, this team deserves to be left out. If it was a close game last week then fine, but a blow out, nah

Texas, UGA, Indiana, Clemson, SC, etc... have all been blown out this season.

That’s correct however, the conference championships will be a factor if the game isn’t close. Hence my comment on SMU. If they lose in regulation they are out and we are in.

And having seen a defensive blue print that we have no chance against.
