Its like demanding we win going station to station in baseball when we're built to hit home runs.
Our offense this season isn't remotely built to hit home runs. We've scored 28 of our 37 touchdowns inside the redzone. Several of the other touchdowns have come from just outside the redzone. Our scoring drives always seem to be 10 or more plays unless it's our 2 minute offense.

I’m not proposing we throw 50 yard bombs every snap.
I’m pointing out that our early to mid season 8 minute drive offense has broken for a variety of reasons.
What does work when we’ve committed to it is an uptempo downfield passing game that’s short of the 50 yard attempts which have been open but unsuccessful and further than the short passing game we’ve leaned on despite defenses altering their coverages.
If you look at our YPA numbers they’ve been plummeting from 10.5 in September to 7.9 over the last month,
7.9 isn’t awful, but you can’t consistently ride that number to wins against elite teams if you don’t have balance.
So again, all I’m proposing is to redirect the early down low efficiency runs to deep intermediate passes and quick hit power runs with Hill.

I wonder if OU installed a completely new offense in their bye week like they did last year
