Tennessee alone is proof enough he should be fired, or at the least demoted.

Bama had more defensive talent than UGA this year and the NFL is about to substantiate that as a proven fact.

UT shredded Bama and was completely stonewalled by UGA.
(52 pts, 569 yards) vs 13 pts, 289 yards)

UGA also outperformed Bama against AU.
(27 pts / 395 Yards) vs 10 pts, 258 yards)

If Bama has more talent than UGA then what other explanation but DC could there be for the disparity in outcomes?

UGA's front 7 has better schemes and plays with more discipline and aggression.

Facts. The middle of Georgia's defense was better than ours but that's it. Everywhere else we were better but didn't show it because of scheme. That's all on Golding and to a lesser extent Saban.

Hopefully having to replace our DC doesnt give our defensive players too much anxiety.

for once in my life I am hoping AU is good enough to beat UGA next year. Otherwise it will have to be UT

It will be neither, Alabama is the only program at the moment who appears to have a chance. Not that UGA is a juggernaut, though they are very good, there is just not anyone on their schedule that is very good. Actually, no one else in college football looks formidable now.

Because of the history of Alabama and Saban, Bama looks like the only viable option. Bama actually appears to be worse than this years' record. Bama beat no one in the regular season with more than 8 wins and could have easily lost 3 other games. The wizardry of a generational QB allowed a soft program to win 11 games.

The coordinators were a problem, but hardly the main problem. The toughness, physical and mental, that once characterized the program, is missing. Hopefully the OL will regain some of its strength - and the DL for it too was weak. There is legit reason for hope, but that's all there is at this moment. Is Roach a problem, he has some talent? Wolford seemed to be headed in the right direction but is not nearly there.
