Probably comes down to Pac12/ big10 voters put as #2 on their ballot


I don't think Haskins has a shot, but I could see a handful of votes putting ahead of either Murray/Tua that could decide the race

I think it would have helped to not prejudice a lot of the late votes against him due to poor performance associated with injury. Still, a lot of people think his surgery is related to the right ankle injury that had him pulled from the game. No one is mentioning the left ankle and when the injury happened.

All that said, I'd rather him stay home, rest and rehab. Vs dealing with swelling and stress associated with flying, travel and sitting in a chair all night at awards shows.
