The more I think of it, Sims play in this game reminds me of AJ in 9-6. He had some better statistics than AJ, but the LSU 2011 defense> 2014 OM defense. Will Sims respond like AJ did in 21-0?

You serious? An over-the-shoulder catch doesn't work like that. If you've ever had to attempt to catch one you'd know that. It wasn't OJ's fault.
He was in FRONT of the defender. With 8-10" on him, and he hardly even jumped. If he had given more effort, he could at least have stopped it from being INT.
I know thats nitpicky, but its pretty true.

Not to mention his 2 drops earlier, and his TERRRIBLE block that ended up being a hold. Coach was more pissed about his crappy blocking than the fact that it was a hold

Howard had a terrible game, no way around it. Even the passes he caught were bobbled. I don't think he's mentally ready to be the player his physical talent dictates he could be. It's like he has an anxiety attack when the ball is thrown his way instead of just reacting and naturally catching the football.

I will pass everything to Blake I always do. Believe it or not watching film and Monday morning qb is helpful. My opinion on the pass is it was probably catchable. Oj has been having issues in practice and everyone now knows why. He is a little lazy, hates contact, and drops balls. Can he improve on all three with out question yes. I truly believe we can go to the playoffs.

MY problem with Howard was the play where he was looking at Blake when the ball was snapped. His man went right inside of him while he was still trying to figure out what the play was or what the snap count was.

In all fairness to Howard, you don't expect your QB to throw into double coverage so I doubt he thought anyone was behind him and trying to make sure he kept his feet inbounds.

The ball was thrown, imho, to thw wrong shoulder and shouldn't have had any loft, if he throws that ball to his left in a line its a TD all day.

My beef with the holding calls are, those inside holds are never called, and officials who are brought in in the iff season tell tje guys if you keep your holds on the inside of the shoulder pads it wont be called. Then 2 out of our last 6 games it gets called in a crucial situations, when it hasn't been called all game. That's why itsBS to me, call it on every down if you want to and I am fine with it, but don't call it only to aid a home team in a close game late.

The problem is that if its visibly obvious that the jersey is being pulled, they HAVE to call it. They would take massive heat if they didnt. Howard has to learn to read the guy he is blocking. If you pay attention to what the guy is doing or where he is looking, you will know when he is about to change direction and then change your blocking technique accordingly. THAT is what makes a great blocker. That is how an elite blocker plays, and if you are going to play the position of TE then you have to be an elite blocker because many times, you are going to be that outside seal who single handedly controls whether or not the runner gets to the edge or not. Yes, he is a pass catching TE, but Shannon fricking Sharp still had to block on just as may plays as he ran routes. It's a hybrid position and takes a player with higher than average dedication to his craft to play well. OJ has got to realize that or he will never be a good TE at this level.

You just made my point. VS. Auburn they didn't call the hold on them on 3rd and 19 that stopped an easy sack, they didn't call the guy who held HA HA in the open field for all to see on their 2nd TD. And they didn't call the hold in endzone that easy z tackle from behind.

My point is, when they call a ticky tack hold at the end of a game, imo, there is an agenda for the home team, the refs get caught up inthe euphoria.
