Charlie Hawke took 6th in the 500 free. Those 20 laps are fewer than all those damn 3 pointers we made tonight

We got 3 of our 800 free relay swimmers into scoring swims tonight in the 200 free. Charlie in the A finals, with kaique and toni the consolation finals. First time this meet we're picking up an extra scorer.

Charlie got 4th, kaique 10th, toni 14th. All 3 ended up posting career bests at some point today. We are not slated to score much from here out... but we made the most of have 3 200 freestylers. We're slated for 16th in the mile tomorrow, and a handful of points in the 400 free relay, but those are it for this year.

In front of a loud and packed Sam Bailey Track and Field Stadium, the Alabama track and field program gathered seven event titles on the final day of the Crimson Tide Invitational. UA's star Doris Lemngole highlighted the day by breaking the women's 1,500-meter school record.
In what was the only chance of the 2025 outdoor season to watch Lemngole in Tuscaloosa, the Crimson Tide faithful cheered on the sophomore phenom as she glided towards her PR-breaking, 4:09.28 event title.
Alabama's other event title winners included Miracle Ailes in the women's high jump (1.80m | 5-10.75), Trevor Gunzell in the men's shot put (18.99m | 62-3.75), Mariia Horielova in the women's long jump (6.18m (20-3.50) | tied No. 10 all-time UA), Precious Nzeakor in the women's 100m (11.49 | PR) and 200m (23.32 | PR) and Lilly Walters in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:06.71 | No. 5 all-time UA | PR).
Head Coach Dan Waters Said
"Like every home meet we ever have, we always have really special performances. There were so many, I had to have all the assistants (coaches) break it down for me, because there was so much to cover. We competed between 70 to 80 athletes out here this weekend, and I don't think anyone walked away with a disappointing performance. That's why we pour our heart and souls into these home track meets, because we always have great results. The 2025 version of the Crimson Tide Invitational did not disappoint. The fans were phenomenal today - it was the largest crowd we've ever had at a track meet before. We were also able to honor our 38 seniors - a huge group, but a group that has been immensely impactful to what we've been able to accomplish over the last four to five years. I'm very proud of them.
