Oats also offered top 2022 G Dior Johnson today.
Averaged 30 ppg this season for his HS. Is only 15.

It's amazing how they can give him a hard time when he almost got a 2 million dollar annual raise. How many of those idiots would run that down?

He’s getting paid quadruple what he was getting paid there. You offer that kind of pay bump to anyone in any profession and they’re gone.

I feel since he had just signed an extension + publicly commented on staying but let's be real
It's like a girl choosing Chris Hemsworth over you. Not many people are going to be competitive with multi-millions, more TV/media exposure and better looking.

After the extension they thought he was going to stick around until a blue blood job came open...that’s how highly thought of he is. Buffalo fans were shocked he took the Bama job because we’re a football school(hopefully that changes some). I’m glad Nate is committed to Bama.

He said when signing the extension it would take an unreal offer to get him to leave, so he did imply he could leave.

I think by “unreal” the fans were thinking more of a traditional basketball school job offering and not just money.
I can see why they’re upset but who cares...they’ll get over it eventually. It’s all a part of the game.

He even said publicly he told his agent that unless it’s something ridiculous to tell them no. Quadrupling your salary is ridiculous.

Eh, I feel like Virginia played better that half overall, but started settling for jump shots. Their defense has played Auburn perfectly.
