In the meanwhile, Jaylen Forbes chosen to participate in the three point shooting contest at the Final Four. Did not know he was such a good shooter. We are getting some good shooters next year hope they can still shoot in the Coliseum.

Does Coleman have metal detectors yet? That could be why we have trouble shooting.

I still believe our rims are too tight. Look at Auburn/Tennessee their rims are so spongy compared to ours

Nothing a good rimjob couldn’t fix

Why do you post so much in the off-season thread
Here's a list of reasons, pick your favorite
1. A lot of good people post here
2. I love talking CBB
3. There are a lot of passionate, knowledgeable bball posters here relative to most SEC related forums
4. Obligation to Cobra after being named "best poster"
5. I generally root/wish the best for UA basketball. Benefits AU and I know it means a lot to people who post here. It's fun for people to be excited for their team

of a "trash program"?
So Greg Bryne paid Avery some $5mil to leave because UA bball wasn't in the dumps? I'm confused what you are getting at exactly
Glad you read my post though, in a historically trash program thread, where I was trashing an Aubie poster refusing to believe sports matter outside the IB rivalry

What I'm getting at is to make sure everyone understands you think Alabama is a trash program.

Gene, you’re a rational poster and I’m glad you’re here, but you’ve never sold me on this one. There are two scenarios in which you disappear from this thread:
1) when Bama is playing well
2) when Auburn is not
If you were here regardless, I’d agree with point #5. But I do like 1-4

basketball "shooters" that come to Bama is like #1 rated kickers that come to Bama!!!

Maybe this explanation will help.
To me, the best part of being a fan is the pandemonium of a special season as the fan base can not contain its euphoria. It is incredible to me that real people with real problems can enter a state of pure bliss over a game that has no impact on their day to day life. Being a part of something like that is special and what makes sitting in empty arenas watching Tony Barbee led teams worth it.
I hope every true sports fan can have that type of experience, even if it is my team's rival. It would be fun for me to see the posters here freaking out over that type of run. You'd have to be a special type of ahole not to enjoy it
As it relates to AU/UA, rivalry games help capture a special season experience in just 1 game. That only happens when the fan bases are emotionally invested... extremely hard when no one cares about the teams/sport

Charlie Henry's twitter
I wouldn't doubt if this guy is the 2nd assistant and Pettway is the third.

Yeah, that's how I see it. I bet Henry is like Mini-Nate just going by his background. He prob. be one of those hotshot HCs w/n 5-6 years.

Yea, they have too much of a past together for him to come here for the 3rd spot

Is there any sites that track Bball coaches previous recruits/commits?

Looks like Dixon is likely staying at UCLA.
