If he thinks he can get a waiver I'd understand it a bit more. If you can play you can play and NBA scouts will find you. Sitting out a year will almost certainly hurt his career more than transferring to Duke will help it. He knows he's the starter here. With Duke, you never know which next big thing they are going to sign while you're sitting on the bench in street clothes doing nothing.

I understand why he's taking his time with the decision. And our fans didn't help with the bullshite on twitter during the season. But, I really can't see him leaving.

After the LSU game there were idiots blaming him for us losing. He didnt play well but No one else did either

If a lot of the fans of the team I play for are telling me I suck and I'm the reason we lost, I'd definitely be looking to explore my options.
Also, everyone that did that are pieces of shite and I would love for the university to find them and ban them from all university events.

Hell, if Universities started banning twitter trolls, what would stop some random person that knows you, from starting a few accounts in your name and getting you banned? What you are advocating is a very slippery slope

I know for some (including me ), if you mentioned Kira's name at all on twitter, his mom was searching his name and coming at you with a vengeance.

I don't even have twitter but if I did, I would give my honest opinion about whatever I wanted. I wouldn't tag anyone, but I'd still give my opinion

In my case, it wasn't tagging Kira or even saying anything derogatory about him. I can't speak for others that his mom would go after.
Bamafan might know better about that because he saw her going after lots of folks.
