Fabulous job by Pettway! No doubt with JD's commitment we're going to get a few more stars to get on board. Loaded team this yr & afterwards.

It’s football season, but #Bama basketball is rolling on the recruiting trail. @nate_oats adds 5-star PG @jddavison10 on Saturday evening, growing a 2021 class class that looks like it could be every bit as special as 2020 in the early going

Give me a big ole plate of crow for saying Pett needs to move along. He’s been holding back. You still got it, Pett!

I think Alex Fudge is our next target that will announce his decision. He's set to announce on October 10th.
Both CB's he has are for LSU.

I’ll be eating a big plate of Pett crow as well. He got it done. Goodness. If we can get him signed, it’s freaking huge for the program.

I was wrong on Pett too and I’m so glad I was lol. Second biggest commit in program history. That’s insane.

I checked 247 and it looks like JD is actually third behind Sexton and Richard Hendrix.
Point still stands though, this was a HUGE addition.

JD has a 44.5 inch vertical.
For comparison, Zion Williamson’s is 45 inches.

Caleb Houston announcing top four on the 7th. Def. better than last year when didn't have any commits.

Hopefully we make that cut.
I can't even imagine if we signed him - that would be two top ten players in the same class.

This was added to Caleb Houstan's 247 profile a few days ago.

Marcus Morris
NEW YORK KNICKS
Has good size as a combo forward with shooting range. Not overly athletic, but plays with strength and has body control. Dangerous three-point shooter. Finishes well inside the arc. Is composed with the basketball. Solid handler and passer. Strong rebounder. Comes up with points off the glass. Positional defender with versatility defensively.

Just had an in-depth conversation with Alabama Fusion’s 17U head coach, Scott Whittle. We discussed JD Davison’s commitment to Alabama and the full interview will be up tomorrow.
Teaser: NBA scouts love Davison’s potential. Could be 1-2 year guy, projected first-rounder in 2022.

Alabama landed the commitment of five-star senior JD Davison this evening. This is a major development for the Tide, but, why is this more impactful then people think? Because Davison could actually end up being with the program for two years. The rumblings were he could just be a one-and-done, NBA scouts have plugged him as a projected first-round pick in the 2022 draft.
